EMG Salient Arms International BLU Tier One Upper Kit for EMG BLU Airsoft GBB Pistols (Model: Competition / Gold Barrel)

"It fits perfectly on the WE Gen 4 G17 lower. I got the Competition with the gold barrel. It's a direct fit without any modifications. You do have to break it in overtime by cycling the gun or using it as it is a little rough in the beginning. If you want an upgrade on this, really it would have to be getting the ball bearing roller for the hammer assembly so it can cycle a lot more smoothly, or a hop up assembly.

One thing to note though is the slide catch notch. Be careful not to constantly keep pressing down on the slide catch to release your slide. The material in that area is very week as it can wear out easily from time to time. I would suggest to power stroke the slide to you can prolong the life of the slide catch.

Pros:
- Lightweight
- Fast Cycle
- Snappy
- Just looks awesome

Cons:
- Paint on the outer barrel isn't that great as it will fade or start to lose it's gold look.
- Slide catch notch can easily wear out or strip if constantly pressing down on the slide release.

"Got myself the competition or the g34 slide and the thing rocks. I put it on my we g17 lower and it looks sick. Bbs shoot straight and blowback is crisp. Would really recommend getting the competition slide over the standard.

It's a complete slide so if you have a WE G17 and want to get a G34 but not deal with customs and have a custom slide this the way to go kind wish evike would freakn get the G17 one in but so far it's been 3 months since since there restock .

But besides that grape Definitely would buy again especially of I sell my current G34 build and a few weeks later buy the 34 slide with the G17

"Pretty nice complete upper. Everything fits smoothly with zero issues. Put it on a complete WE lower g17 frame and functions smooth as butter. Also work ok on my complete guarder lower but something rubs a little more then i like. Over all its a great purchase for me. Its tm/we compatible. Internals are WE specs which is like 14mm on the bbu vs 13.5 for the tm bbu so if you want to upgrade, we parts are pretty easy to find on evike.

Overall its a 5 star slide, not too expensive and its complete. Just throw it on a compatible frame.
