Built to specifications provided by F1, the BDR-15 retains all of the design and styling cues of its big brother, giving the user a unique and bold platform. Equally at home on the field or in a competition setting, the BDR-15's high efficiency gearbox provides superior performance in all settings. From the skeletonized receiver, to the KeyMod compatible C7K Contoured handguard, the EMG BDR-15 is a faithful recreation of F1's flagship AR15 line.

The C7K ultra-lightweight handguard features unique styling that caters to both form and function. The aggressive cuts allow the maximum amount of weight to be shaved off without compromising structural integrity. The quick placement grip area offers a comfortable and consistent grip that is easy to find just from feel and muscle memory. These unique handguards are precision cut on advanced 5-Axis CNC machines. The intricate design limits production of these high end handguards to only 8 units a day.

About the Silver Edge Gearbox:

The APS Silver Edge gearbox is yet another step forward with improvement of the tried-and-true version 2 gearbox. APS improved upon the V2 with some excellent key features. First and foremost they use an improved strength Grade 5 aluminum alloy for the gearbox shell material. They then plate the interior of the gearbox to a Slick chrome-like finish, effectively reducing friction on the moving parts that contact the gearbox walls, such as the sides of the piston and the tappet plate. From there they deck the gearbox out with steel gears riding on 8mm stainless steel bearings, low-resistance wiring and trigger switch, and to top it all off a Quick-Change ball bearing spring guide allowing for easy spring changes in the future. All of these improvements net around a 15% increase in overall efficiency, when compared with standard Ver2 gearbox designs. What this means for the user is better battery life, smoother gearbox performance, and improved gearbox longevity.
