"This gun is amazing for the price and its internals. I have been a technician for 3 years and I have to say that for $200 (I got it on sale for $150) its more than worth it.
Pros:
Gearbox is quick change and comes radiused (I was surprised)
has an etu of some kind without a MOSFET tho
comes with bearing bushings
the external design is cool as it is similar to an m4 without being one
looks like it should be easily upgradeable which is what I'm up to right now
Cons:
I bought the pdw pistol and It has no battery space (for me no big deal as I was going to put on a drop stock) but if you're planning on using it stockless then you're going to need a really small battery I couldn't even fit my 11.1 1000mah lipo in the handguard
Also, this might have just been my chrono or the fact I was using crappy bbs or smth else but the fps was incredibly inconsistent fluctuating from 200-380 on different shots
And finally, just like most invested players I use pts epm1 and epm mags and with the stock hopup, they are not being held close enough to the hopup for the tab to be pushed out of the way. I had no problems with some other brands but be warned although most likely changing out the hopup will solve it.

"Bought this as my first Airsoft gun, and I think it’s awesome. It has no wiggle at all, both the metal and plastic parts are very solid, and (while not being an expert to internals) everything internals wise is good, the gun shoots well and doesn’t sound like anything is wrong on the inside. I got the “A” variant stock, and one thing I’m not a fan of is how restricting the battery space is (I’ve found 7.4v 1200 mAh Lipo batteries to work well, although still a tight fit) and the replica has only fit properly with the magazine that came with it, and Lancer Tactical m4 magazines, everything else doesn’t feed.
I’ve had a blast with this gun and highly recommend it to anyone starting out.
P.S. This gun is almost always on sale, so if you want to buy it and it’s not on sale, wait a little bit and it will be.
Happy Airsofting.

"Great gun taken it apart a 100 times swapped the gearbox. It's not same m4 demensions so no safety selector but if you make sure parts fit. Great cqb get this it's nice

"This is my second Warlord and it is one of my favorite looking, non- mlock railed guns. The look of the gun reminds one as if a "skinny" ACR and an M4 had a baby. The results are not too bad. I have both the regular stock and the low-profile stock. The low-profile version is sleek looking, but that stock is easily broken (it happened).
The internals is ok, but easy upgrades like hopup, bucking, and shimming.
For its price point, it's a great beginner gun. It's nice and light, polymer and metal. Its buttons are ambidextrous and large; which is perfect for large hands.
If you want a gun that is an M4 but looks different from an M4 get this gun.

"A typical matrix product, high quality. Paired with a 8.4 NMH battery this gun rips, on a lipo, it rips even harder. The plastic lower receiver and other components are not cheap abs, but of extreme durability. Not in anyway what so ever does this feel like a cheap, “toy”.
****Only problem, ad says wired to the “front”, its actually wored inside of the small, extremely durable stock. I drilled a whole and put a notch in the stock and put on a mag pouch to hold larger batteries and swapped to deans.
I picked this up on sale as well as see it on sale multiple times, $200 seems a little steep price wise.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR A CQB M4, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

"I bought the stockless one as my first indoor rifle, and after playing with it a lot, decided to open it up and make a very high end, high performance dsg. The gearbox shell is great quality, hard metal, proper shimming windows, comes with steel ball bearings, and comes radiused. Turned this thing into a 60+ rps dsg with zero compatibility issues. Without the upgrades, this thing is still fantastic. Great trigger response out of the box. I used a 7.4v Lipo but you could get a peq and use 11.1v. Also very well shimmed out of the box, very quiet.
Overall there is no downside to this gun. Best for the price, very high quality externals and internals.
Buy it

"First Impression: 5/5
I really like this gun. I got it out of the BOA and at first I was disappointed because I already owned the Ares Amoeba. I thought this was going to be worse then my Amoeba, it was $100 less. But I threw a battery in it and I was shocked. The trigger response was great and because of the 6.03mm inner barrel the accuracy was pretty outstanding as well. (I have the SBR 8" version)
Internals: 3/5
Let me start by saying the internals aren't bad, well kind of. The GB shell seemed nice from the outside, although, time will tell. For being a gun without a MOSFET this has the best rigger response out of ant trigger contact gun I have used. The contacts seem nice and after a few hundred cycles they didn't have any sign of arcing or potential electrical danger. (Tested with an 11.1V LiPo) Now for the bad part the gears/piston during my testing the the pistons rack got completely striped and the gears also had signs of wear. Really disappointed with the quality of the piston and gears, however, mine could have been a dud and I was using an 11.1V battery, the the gun is advertised as LiPo ready though. Either way, high quality gears and a nice piston doesn't cost that much and should make this gun an epic killing machine.
Externals: 5/5
I really like the unique look of this thing , and the keymod rail feels great. To me, the gun feels like a polymer version of a Krytac. Obviously the quality isn't the same as a Krytac but that is to be expected and for $100 and change cheaper you cant go wrong with this thing.
Overall: 5/5
Even though I had some problems with the GB they are easily fixed and for the price I would say this is the best beginner gun on the market to date. I prefer this over starter options from G&G as well as Ares. If your looking for a first gun look no further this is it, Buy it Now!

"The only problem i had with this gun, was the cross compatiblity, I got the Model A, DMR. And i had the screw from the mag catch release button come out while using it, and i wasnt able to find any parts to replace this. As a result i ended up taking all the internals out of the body, and putting them into another gun. This worked for a while, but then the Mosfet, or trigger unit, / elictricals inside the gearbox went all screwy, and it wont come out of 4 rnd burst... Im confused about what to do now, but ended up buying another gun. For what its worth, id give it a 7/10 while it worked. cross compatibility is prolly a 3/10. would not recomend for anyone wanting to do upgrades to the gun because it is more ' exotic'.

"Won it in a mystery box and got to say it is pretty solid. It looks like it has a lancer tactical oem. Solid gun though for a matrix. I was kinda disappointed when the bolt release broke but that doesn't matter too much and I'm sure its an easy fix. Going to use it on a night game so let's hope it doesn't break

"Got as gift. I like it I don't remember what happened but I broke the gearbox and had to put a replacement in. Didn't fit perfectly (had no safety) but other than that I've used this gun sooo much and disassembled and reassembled it soooooo many times I'd say it's taught me alot. Doesn't shoot too hard good for indoor but that may be my new gearbox idk the outside is what I love the most

"I got the Go Airsoft Package everything was good except for the 2 midcaps that came included didn’t even fit in the mag well and would slip right out with the slightest movement
