"this gun is so good its almost unfair to use it at the field. It outshoots most others in RPS and distance with .25g bbs.
bought it because i saw another guy with it. he let me use it for 1 session and i bought 1 before i left the filed.

"Let me start with the fact that I absolutely love this gun. I’m on the fence about electric guns and gas guns, but for CQB it’s definitely ideal to have batteries because they’re safe to pack and you don’t have to worry too much about being too aggressive and maybe falling and landing on a gas cartridge.
Now for the Krytac mkII PDW-M specifically. It’s easy to get to know and feels great to hold. Easily modifiable, voiding the warranty without its original parts including the orange tip removal. The realistic weight and sound when chamber racking is incredibly satisfying. “Racking the chamber” with this gun just opens the hopup to adjust it. The gun shoots very straight once you set the desired hopup adjustment. The battery compartment is easily accessible which is really helpful for fast paced games or hot situations in general.
So far I’ve added a blue laser/flashlight peq, a QD red/green dot sight, a 3x flip magnifier, and a 220mm mock suppressor to it. It looks amazing and feels great to use. 10/10

"Perfect for cqb. short enough to swap sides quickly to pop around corners. fast rps on single pull, shoots straight, 1st thing I did was take off the tip (voiding the warranty of course) and putting on an Acetech R. tracer. 2nd mod was putting in a Promethus tight bore stainless steel inner barrel. Running 20c lipo stick even though the instructions say never go over 30amps. The Battery compartment is very limited with the wire and fuse along with the battery making during game battery swaps difficult. I also have a small block lipo 20c that makes it much better for space, but if you do a lot of shooting its only 1100mah so long 40min games might push it to the edge if you like to spray the field. Speaking of mags. the Krytac window mag for a mid cap is very nice, it fits quite nicely (polymer) and the bb window is actually functional so you can see how close you are at a glance before running out. However... here is the good part, G&G high cap mags fit and feed perfectly, so do the generic Matric metal high cap 500 mags. so with 4 vest stowable mags and one in the gun you could walk out on the field with 2500 rounds no problem. I have the drum as well, but the bulkiness can be annoying. Back to the gun, rock solid metal, fast and accurate...

"Love it! Bought it for CQB games and plinking in the backyard.
Already put over 1,500 BBs breaking it in and no issues.
Mounted a foregrip and a light with pressure switch taped to the grip for CQB.
For anyone wanting to run an 11.1 Lipo instead of a 7.4, look at the Airtech Studios Krytac PDW series battery extension unit, you won’t be able to collapse the stock but to run an 11.1, it’s worth it!
It had the Dean connector already so I can switch out batteries with my other rifle if I don’t bring a spare.

"besides the stock and having to get a small block style lipo the gun was AWSOME!!! right out of the box .28 bb on 11.1 lipo it was 22.8 rps at 287 fps.
Played with it on the filed today and it was nice and easy to move around. super accurate - impressive for suck a short barrel. even more accurate than my 16" stock krytac alpha crb.
has a cool humm at full auto, not sure why could be the short barrel.

"This gun works amazing. I ordered it early this summer and have been nothing but impressed. I recommend buying the battery extension unit from Airtech Studios. As the battery space is a bit small. However with the mod the buffer tube can hold a butterfly type battery. I swapped out my spring for a irregular type M110, and the process was easy with the quick change spring system (never had to open the gearbox)
Pros
•Perfect for CQB
•Accurate enough for mid range engagements
•Very reliable
•Very Modifiable for beginners
Cons
•7.4v batteries although are recommended are not what is recommended. 11.1v give it the right response needed for its purpose
•Lots of lock tight glue
•Not compatible with most hand guards

"I bought this as my first airsoft rifle and I have not been disappointed. I was told to go with a Krytac and I do not regret my decision. I wanted something light and maneuverable for short to medium engagement during outdoor play. I use .28 bb's that chrono around 380 fps and I have no issue reaching targets within sight. I was happy to find out it came with a metal flash hider to replace the plastic, orange one, which saved some money. I like the PDW stock and I'm glad they upgraded the opening. I use a Matrix 11.1v lipo with a short wire, it's snug but it still fits easily after a little practice. I agree with other review that there is not much room on the rails but it's enough for a vert grip, not an AFG or hand stop. The flip up sight work well and easy to install. The only thing I did like about it was the pistol grip, there is not a lot of texture and my hand is fatigued after a day on the field. This is a grate rifle and is well work the price for what you are getting.

"Very nice replica! This was my first Krytac rifle. It chrono’d at about 1.1J and 310-320FPS with a .25g bb. Don’t have many complaints other than there isn’t much mlok space for grips. Also while the easy access battery compartment is nice it’s still rather small. I can fit an 11.1v 1000mAh battery but that’s it. Anything longer than 100mm won’t fit!!
PRO’S
-Good FPS
-Super solid construction
-Snappy trigger response on 11.1v
-Quick deploy and access battery compartment
-Decent range and accuracy
-Wired to Deans (includes tamiya adapter)
CON’S
-Small battery compartment
-Not much mlok room
-Not a “true” quick change spring (must remove gearbox)
Overall I have no regrets! It’s performance exceeded my expectations for a 155mm inner barrel. Use .28g bb’s!!

"So just bought this for a Mil-Sim event coming up in April. I wanted a gun that was light weight but could function indoors and outside. My friends all buy krytac and swear by them. After having bad experiences with G&G and G&P guns which both failed quickly read one day on the field I was willing to give them a shot.
I have to say I am impressed immediately with the build quality of this unit no wobble anywhere very solid. Was able to mount a Peq- 15, AimPoint holo sight, BCM vertical grip and QD mount to the rails no problem! Unit functions flawlessly out of the box slight hop up adjust and she was ready to go. Ordered a titan power 2600 brick Li-ion battery which fits barely but the unit is a machine!
Pros:
-orange tip removal easiest I’ve dealt with hex key and hair dryer no problem! And it comes with a steel flash hider!
-Solid build quality honestly impressed!
-rail system is small but had enough room for all my needs
-despite full metal construction is quite light easy to carry for hours
Cons:
-wish the stock was a bit longer as I am a long armed ape and I chicken wing slightly with it.
-even with the redesign hard to fit a battery in there
Bottom line is buy this unit if you’re on the fence it’s the best quality out of the box I have seen!

"If you were wondering whats the difference between the Krytac PDW-M and Krytac PDW, the difference is the PDW-M comes with a MLOK hand guard, an upgraded stock with quick change battery compartment and Flip-up iron sights. The only difference internally seems the be the gearbox shell. The PDW-M comes with a silver/steel colored gearbox while the PDW has a yellow/gold tint to it's gearbox.
Now for the gun review:
Out of the box the gun comes with a cleaning rod, black metal flash hider, a T-plug to tamiya adapter, 150rd krytac midcap magazine, flip up iron sights and the nicest designed manual I have ever seen come with an air soft gun.
When I first held this gun the hand guard and stock were slightly wobbly so I tightened down the screws and now the gun is rock solid with no wobble or play. The gun is heavy (8-9lbs) for its size which tells me it was made with good quality durable materials. Most of the gun is metal. The only polymer parts were the pistol grip and stock which is pretty normal.
Out of the box the gun had very consistent fps. I only had a deviation of about 4fps. the range I got was 343 to 347 fps which is perfect for cqb. It also had a ROF of 23 on full auto using a 11.1 liPo battery. With the standard trigger it came with I could get an ROF of 8 on semi auto. The accuracy was very good for its CQB purpose. I could easily hit a man sized target at 75ft - 100ft with .28bbs. I plan on upgrading this gun with a 6.03 rhoped barrel assembly to squeeze out a little extra range and accuracy. When firing this gun on full auto there is noticeable recoil when the piston is slamming the cylinder head. Its not as strong as a GBBR but its enough to throw off your aim and the longer distances.
If I were to upgrade this rifle I would focus on the air seal since the compression is not the best. I would get a double o-ring nozzle, cylinder head and piston head to really compress all the air in the cylinder. The double o-ring cylinder head is going to cause a little bit more friction so I would recommend getting a cylinder with a special coating like Teflon or chromium. The motor and gear set are perfect they way they are. I cant imagine someone wanting a higher ROF than 23.
In conclusion the Krytac PDW-M is a really awesome CQB platform. It can be one of the best guns with a few upgrades that will probably cost less than $70. The external build and internal build quality are phenomenal. I've had this gun for 3 months and it has never failed to operate as intended. On top of that krytac offers a two month warranty should a part fail. You cannot go wrong with this gun.

"When you open the box to this you will be teleported back in time to when craft was a thing beyond beer. You will notice details were attended to, and brain power was leveraged, to ensure the quality of this Krytac made you question your own work ethic. You will hear a grail knight silently whisper "You chose... wisely" as the quality oozes out of the packaging and into your possession for the next 10 years - because it really seems like it's going to last that long.
Pro:
- Deans Connector
- Warning sticker was easy to remove (no sticky left behind)
- Included Tamiya adapter if you really must
- Included metal black flash hider
- Included M-Lok to picatinny adapter
- Included (very low profile) flip up sights that match the rail's front angle
Con:
- Your existing battery won't fit
- The orange tip is glued on (oh well, it came off)
Not Sure:
- New krytac gearbox shell is not the same yellow tint. It's changed. I hope that is a good thing.

"Great starter option. A few considerations for those new to the sport:
1) Has built-in MOSFET, so run on 7.4V or 11.1V LIPO depending on desired ROF and wear trade-off
2) Gearbox likely needs modifications for future internal upgrades
