"To start off, this is a great gun in general.

It's what you would expect, a CO2 1911 blowback. The pictures on Evike can be misleading, the gun itself looks very real with a crisp texture on the slide. The grip is fake wood, also textured, and a very dark brown color-wise. The slide is pretty hefty, with a certain slam to it once released (yes, the slide release functions). The magazine has a capacity of about 15, which can be problematic. The magazine is also somewhat difficult to load, as there is no catch to hold the spring pushing BBs out. As for magazine changing, if you have several (would recommend, the extra $$$ is worth it for the play), it's fairly easy to drop one and slap another in. CO2 is easy to load via an Allen wrench.

As for gameplay, it works fairly well. Running out of ammo can be an issue, though the gun is accurate enough to make your shots count. Gas efficiency isn't bad, though not good, with it lasting around 40-60 shots. The only issue I've had with the gun in fields is the fact that the slide occasionally doesn't lock after firing the last BB.

If you don't want to read the text wall above;

Pros:
-Full metal
-Textured slide/grip
-Blowback
-Functional slide release
-CO2 powered
-White night sights (painted)
-Decent accuracy

Cons:
-Low magazine capacity
-Mediocre gas efficiency
-Mediocre longevity (if you rack the slide and dry fire endlessly, it will last you ~6 months tops)

"This gun honestly impressed me. First off, from around 50-60 feet it was hitting (easily out of the box with .23s) a good grouping within 6 inches. That was with the iron sights lined up with the target (again, perfectly aligned out of the box). When chronoed it averaged 345 fps.
I got the package with a bag of BBs and two spare mags and all the mags work with no issues. The gun is solid and has a very nice feel and a great kick to it. It goes up on Epic Deals a lot so if you’re contemplating getting it then I’d definitely recommend it for the steal of a price they sell it for. I’ve had it for a few months now and had absolutely 0 issues with it even when running multiple mags simultaneously after each other. Great gun, 10/10

"I bought the stainless classic model and I am loving it!

I bought this for my WW2 loadout back in February 2021.
I did this review in October of 2022, so my gun has had many, many rounds through it and it has been rolled around in the dirt and dropped once or twice, (oopsie.)
I just the other day field stripped it (took the slide off) so that I could grease the slide and all the moving parts. And it the slide moves so smoothly and it shoots better.

This 1911 is an amazing build; it's full metal, has heavy kickback, has a beautiful finish, it's super realistic, it can be field stripped for cleaning/maintenance, and it's THE Classic American pistol. How can you go wrong? Lol.

The gun shoots very well, has decent range for a pistol, (Sorry I don't have a FPS rating on it.) The only thing about it is the grouping is not the best, (to be expected with any pistol.) KWC did an amazing job on this gun! I have also purchased the KWC Uzi and I am very pleased with it. I believe KWC makes good products.

(Every review must have pros and cons right?)

Pros:
Full metal,
Heavy kick,
Realistic take down,
Has a hopup,
Good range for pistol,
Good FPS for pistol,
Co2 powered, (personal preference)

Cons:
Not for me, but if you are a smaller person/kid just consider that this gun is heavy and has hard blowback.

"This gun was my first 1911 and it was one of the best pistols I've owned and is good for the price.

"Got this in the same day I got my Thompson SMG and so far I love it! Has a nice feel to it, good kickback and shot great! Had a little issue with the part you screw in the CO2 cartage, but I managed to get it back in the mag and so far it seems fine. In total this will be my new main backup pistol!

"I got this gun about a year and a half ago and have had no problems with it. It has become one of my favorite guns and is very accurate and precise and the fps is great. It out distances one of my other guns which is rated as being 460fps.I would even go as far as to say that the fps is on this 1911 is 450fps. Over all I've had a lot of fun and enjoyment with this colt 1911 pistol (desert sand).

"Love this gun. durable and hits hard if you keep it clean. I bought a second one for my son. Using the orange tip I removed I tested the outer barrel threads at my local full service hardware store where they have individual nuts etc. in drawers and the threads are 12mm.

"I purchased this gun, and have been using it for about a month now. The gun shoots around 380 fps on a full co2 cartridge, and drops closer to 350-360 after a full magazine, and has an adjustable hop-up. The gun is fully metal, aside from the plastic grips that are made to look like wood, and that gives it a good weight, though, like many 1911's, it is a relatively heavy pistol or at least heavier than the most common polymer pistols, I personally prefer the heavier weight. The slide does rock more than an actual 1911 would, but that really isn't an issue. But the magazines for this gun... They cost a lot of money... nearly 40 dollars for just a 16 round magazine. And you cannot get them in silver. I give this gun a 5/5 stars.

"I got this gun during the summer of 2020, and I definitely owe it a review. On a fresh CO2 cartridge, this thing easily shoots at 400 fps with .20g BBs, and drops down to more widely accepted speeds after a few rounds (around a full magazine should do it). I can get about 60 to 80 rounds on a single cartridge, and considering the fps and solid blowback, I personally think that's pretty great.
Possibly the only downside is that the metal construction makes it too heavy for certain holsters (namely thigh holsters; I've used two different types, and neither were able to keep it in very well). However, after getting a hard-shell holster to put on my belt, this problem was easily solved.
One thing that I simply have to say is how downright sturdy and reliable this thing is. I recently lost it in the snow (it had fallen out of my thigh holster at some point, hence my earlier comment on the matter) and it was at least three to four weeks before we were able to search for it again. By that point, the snow had melted, and we were worried that it might have rusted. My buddy found it the next day, and not only did it have minimal rust, but it still worked like a dream. The magazine had held up, too! With a bit of steel wool for the cosmetic rust and silicone oil for the internals, it was good as new. After that experience, I can say with confidence that this 1911 will stand by you so long as you stand by it, and it's well worth the price tag. Even after dry-firing it at least a few dozen times (in a row, on at least two occasions) during its service, this gun kept on shooting like there was no tomorrow.
There are obviously things like paint/color wear after repeated/extended use, but that's to be expected, and doesn't affect performance. There's also the matter of accuracy, but this thing is pretty standard in that regard. You wouldn't want to rely on it for long range, but it could realistically work, since its shooting distance is on par with an AEG. In close-quarters, though, it's a monster. I've made incredible snap shots with this thing, as well as hip-shots, and have almost never had to actually use the sights to consistently hit my targets.
I suppose one of my main points is its apparent resistance to rust and other damage, though when you couple that with its top-notch performance and decent gas efficiency, you get a truly wonderful sidearm. Pair it with some attachments, and maybe an extended magazine, and you won't need another sidearm for a long, long time.

"I just recently purchased the 1911 colt just because I wanted it lol and because I want to start getting into airsoft. I received it in the mail today, which only took a week to a week and a half, and I am absolutely in love with this gun and airsoft! My expectations were exceeded from this product and from the company! I'm not going to recommend this pistol only because everyone will have a different preference in what there looking for but I most definitely will recommend this company to everyone getting into airsoft and everyone who is a veteran in airsoft. Thank you so much Evike!!

"I got this over a year ago and put too many rounds to count through it. It works just fine. Great blowback feel. The gun feels like the real 1911. I wanted to field strip it but didn't know how. So i watched a video of taking apart a REAL 1911. They were virtually the same. The gas efficiency is enough to last a good amount of mags full of bbs. But in a game. If you are having refill a mag with bbs during a game. You must be in a heap of trouble and good luck getting out of it. So one extra mag will be enough to get you out of a situation if you're careful. The only thing i have found to be a nuisance is that when it is unloaded. The slide catch doesn't automatically activate. However it catches a few times after i take it down and put it back together. Not sure why that happens. But it isn't anything that will affect the performance. I just love racking the slide and releasing it. It is a great sound and feel. But overall. A fun gun that will do its job.

"Great gun. accurate. built well. comes apart easily so changing the hop up is easy. one CO2 cartridge is good for about five magazines. if you get the package with the two extra mags the Allen wrench that comes with the gun does not work for the extra mags. awesome gun would recommend
