"For those of you wondering, you do not need this adapter to attach a 14mm suppressor to the end of a Umarex MP5 (specifically ID: 78863 (AEG-UX-2275052). There is in fact a 14mm thread under the orange tip. You just have remove the glued tip by taking out the pin and using pliers to gently remove the plastic orange tip. The quality of the adapter is top notch, however, I do not need it. Before you buy this for your MP5, make sure you do NOT have any kind of thread on yours. I blame myself for this mistake, not the product.
