Tokyo Marui AK47 Original Airsoft AEG Rifle

"this gun definitely holds up the standard all tokyo marui guns are fabled to have, extremely accurate and good fps out of the box. those worrying about it being mostly plastic should rest assured its weighted throughout the gun so it feels excellent in your hands.

"Yeah, it's a TM gun. Internally it's damn near perfect out of the box. Excellent trigger response, SUPER accurate. It is so good I am honestly contemplating buying another one.

"I really did want to give this 4 stars but it’s a Tokyo marui so I’m holding it up to the highest standards. This gun came almost perfect except for the front sit loose and moves on the barrel, easy fix just tighten the set screw on it but still had to include this in here. Other than that this gin looks and feels amazing. Stamped steel and high quality TM plastics and yes of course super accurate and consintant FPS each shot. Overall ver happy with the gun, this is just a good old classic Tokyo Marui and I do expect it to just work for years to come.

"It's hard to write this review because I have mixed feelings. My first TM AK47 had to be returned because something internal to the gearbox broke 10 minutes into backyard target practice. I was sent a replacement and so far it is good. I will return if the problems persist with the new one.

Exterior is great. It has some plastic and some metal, but it's durable. The orange tip can be removed (take the grub screw out first). It comes with a dummy battery under the dust cover. You can fill this battery to add weight to the gun I suppose.

The FPS is good. You won't make anyone really hurt (which is a positive thing to me), but the BBs travel pretty good with .28 & .3g BBs.

The range with .3g BBs was over 100 feet with the gun held at a very slight upward angle. The gun can certainly hop .3's easily (half hopup for these).

The battery space is perfect. The exterior is just so beautiful, the wood even looks real. Hopefully this replacement does better than the first one.

4/5 because sadly my first TM AK broke instantly. I hope that was a fluke!
