"The TM M1A1 Thompson was the first airsoft gun I ever purchased back in 2006 and I cannot recommend it enough. It has been running faithfully and without flaws for the past 14 years! It's accurate and reliable I couldn't ask for anything more. I have a friend who also had his for about 10 years and his tommy is a real nail driver. Cosmetically this gun has ABS plastic grips, and I recommend the wood kit for a more realistic feel. Highly recommend!

"This gun beats the CYMA by far. the whole upper part of the gun + the barrel, bolt, mag, sights, triggget and mag well. Truly a must have. It has lasted me close to 5 years now, and has had no problems. 5/5.

"My favorite gun! I have owned this gun for five years and have never once ran into any problems. The fit and finish far surpasses the Cybergun copy. I dislike the white print on the receiver on the Cybergun and much prefer the more realistic stamped lettering on the Marui. It is very accurate and even more accurate since I gave it a full rebuild. The plastic stock is the only downfall but if you are a diehard Thompson fan, there are real wood kits out there to give it the finishing touch. This is the perfect gun for airsofters and collectors alike.

"Always wanted a Thompson M1A1 for my collection and I finally added the TM version earlier this year. For it being mainly externally made of polymer it is solid. The upper reciever and outer barrel included mid cap stick magazine and internals are full metal and are very high quality and the TM faux wood is miles above other brands imitation wood as far as looks and sturdiness goes. I doubt I will ever run it in a game but if the WW2 theme casual TDM style events ever come near me I just may. Like all TM replicas the low fps is not an issue for this replica as far as range and stock performance. It drills targets 100ft away on a line with .25s and .28s and gets a decent ROF off of a 7.4 lipo and a 9.6 nimh. ( 12&14rps respectively) I'm sure there are pretty easy upgrades that can be had to get the gun shooting 175-200ft+ like most TM replicas but I am just happy to have it in my collection and is a must for any collector. Overall a very good/not great AEG that I definitely recommend for the guy who values quality in the details. 8/10 from me.

"Good accuracy, but why plastic?
CYMA is more worth it, it's way more realistic, and cost less. This gun is so not worth the money.
