"Just bought this optic and have yet to use it on the field, however, did some testing and so far seems to work great. My thoughts for the time being:
Pros:
-5 modes of brightness (6th mode is off)
-easily adjustable
-visible in high brightness areas
-good quality material
Cons:
-entire sight must be removed to replace the battery (the most common option for most pistol-mounted micro-red dots, unfortunately)
-**This could just be me being stupid; while adjusting the red dot's position by lining it up with a mounted laser to help align with the barrel, I had to turn the dials in the opposite direction of what was stated on the dials to move it where I wanted. For example; if stated to turn clockwise to move sight down, I would have to turn counter-clockwise to move the dot down instead, etc...Not a big deal but was confusing at first
Note: while it was designed for the Sig pro force P320 M17/M18, I found out while at the Evike superstore that this optic fits very well onto the stock plate of the ASG P-09 Optic Ready model, just do not use either of the included extra mounting plates in the box with the sight

"Not sure if there' been revisions of this lately but I have none of the issues previous reviewers mentioned. The oem plate was easy to take off and this was easy to put on. It's not an RMR footprint optic. This is only for the Proforce M18 and M17. Very easy to use and see in all lighting conditions. I've got 3k+ rounds through my M17 with this on and it's held up wonderfully

I did as the INSTRUCTIONS told to do, and the screws that hold the plate on the m17 are GLUED into their holes so if you want to mount this sight there is a good chance you'll damage your gun and or void its warranty just putting this on
I own real sig firearms and airsoft pistols
And being that both this sight and The M17 have Sig's name on it and given their reputation I expected better

"When I opened it up I realized the mount was only for a sig product but decided to attach the mount to it anyway and it doesn’t even fit.
