"Excellent rifle for its price. Highly compact with stock folded, and the build quality is way above its price point. Metal dust cover, metal internals, metal sights, metal mag.
WARNING: A reviewer listed Matrix High Performance 8.4v, stick type 1600 MAH as an ideal battery. As a guy who actually bought said battery for this rifle. This is simply not true. Discluding the wire, the dust cover space here is almost exactly 200mm, and so is the listed battery, making the fit including the wire physically impossible. My avice: get a 7.4 or 8.4 short type battery. Less than 160mm in length, for sure. Hopefully this saves someone from wasting 20 bucks like I did.
Pros:
-Solid, high quality construction.
-Excellent ballistics, on par with a full size AEG in accuracy, range, and power. Was doing some range time and had a ricochet come right back and strike me in the chest at 15-20ft out.
-Folding stock is cokfortable in both positions, but when folded slows down use of fire selector.
-Highly compact (prob 19-21 inches) when folded up entirely.
-Folding stock works with full size AK mags as well.
-Compatible with most if not all CYMA, JG, and Matrix style mags.
-Stubby mag it came with is high quality, metal build. It's compact, reliable, cheap, and comes with a winding key. Ordered a 2nd one gladly.
CONS:
-Battery compartment is small, and mandates short type 7.4 or 8.4 volt batteries. 9.6 is plausible, but would probably increase wear and tear on auto. Less than 160mm is safe in battery size, as mentioned above.
-Rear sights can't be adjusted like the "mortar sights" on standard AK's for range. I love mortar sights, but I was able to hit at long range without them anyways.
-Will make you say "bby" and "bbyr" as a new inside joke.

"This gun is very kawaii!!!! xddddd
+Its very bby
+You can take off stock to make it bbyr
+It takes most if not all other AK mags
+Feels and looks very unique
-It is a decent challenge to fit the battery in the thing. Extremely snug fit.
The battery that would be the best fit/type would be the Matrix GenStar High Output 8.4V 1600mAh NiMH Stick Type Battery.

"Very good, well made, reliable gun! It works just the way it was intended and I've had it for a few months now and haven't seen any problems with it so far. Only complaint I may have is that the mag is kinda small, but you can just buy a bigger one if you want. This doesn't really bother me too much much but it might for you. Other than that great product!

"AMAZING gun. Bought for my wife, who was having touble with the M4, both of us have used this gun now it it truly outperforms, especially considering the price. Full metal body, and gearbox. Tight solid build; you don't have to do the standard bolt tightning that most experienced players know to do, before using the first time. Cronos at about 330-340 stock out of box. This guy is a beast! Also the folding stock is a great option, as it allows for better play in a wide range of environments. Also much like the real AK this was dropped down a hill (by accident of course) and ended up in a sand pit, was picked up and no problems whatsoever, still performed and best of all no dent or even scratches. Also the additional battery is great for all day games, although we've only had to swap batteries once during a game session. REALLY one of the best AKs on the market that we've seen or utilized. Cannot give this product enough stars. . .

"This is a great gun for the price the only problem is putting the battery on and the high cap 600 round Mag stopped working in a day but the high cap 250 works fine all and all a good gun

"Great gun!!It barely has any flaws besides the mags. The mags have to been winded to its limit until a cracking noise is made, or it won't shoot. The mags however are metal and both are high caps. One is 250 rds and the other 600. With mags like this its a great deal, also, the gun is basically full metal and the front grip and handle is rubberized. It shoots hard and has a lil kick to it. The ROF and power is amazing, the sites are a little hard to use, but will get easy after practice. It is the most compact rifle i ever seen, when folded ill be even smaller than an mp5 and can fit in most cases and bags. It comes with two 8.4 stick batteries and charger. Overall its a great gun and worth the money.

"I got this gun a couple of days before christmas, it works great and shoots hard, fast and accurate. The only downside is that the sights are hard to use and not adjustable. The mags may not work property if not propertly filled and winded with a decent amount of bbs. But hey its still good, the mags are full metal and it comes with 2 of them. One 250 rounds, and the other 800, the gun is basically full metal and the foregrip and grip is rubbized. Mines came with 2 8.4v batteries, cleaning rod, charging, 2 mags, winding pin, sling etc. The foldable is stock is secure, and this gun is extremely compact. The flash hider is removeable so u can have sliencers and stuff. Get this gun, its great!

"This is a great AEG! The external and internal finish is identical to the Marui which is $200 more. And it comes with battery, charger and extra magazine! Shoots 350 out of the box, very compact to run around and good range.
