"As close to a real firearm you can get in airsoft. Shoots extremely consistent, straight, and far with .32g (It can easily hop heavier BBs).

Fit and finish is emmaculent and has ZERO wobble! It looks, feels, and operates flawlessly. Extremely gas efficient; I was able to go thru 3 whole mags on semi on one charge of the included GHK mag.

This gun feels like you can run it over with a truck and it will be fine.

It is pricey, but this gun requires zero upgrades. Preforms amazing right out of the box.

If you want a very very solid preforming and reliable GBB, this is for you!

I have fielded it every weekend and its performed so well out the box I don't feel the need to upgrade it for a while. "This gun is a tank.

Pros:
- Very solid external construction. The lower and upper receivers are made of 7075-T6 forged aluminum which is the same material used in real AR-15s.
- Very solid internal construction. Outer barrel, trigger group, bolt carrier group, bolt catch, magazine release, selector, dust cover, and takedown pins are made of steel.
- Daniel Defense trademarks.
- Very accurate rifle.
- Consistent gas efficiency.
- Very reliable, thanks to its solid construction.
- Takes airsoft to another level of enjoyment.

Cons:
- For $1,200, I would've expected this gun to have come with an NPAS nozzle. It only came with a standard GHK M4 nozzle. FPS was right around 300-320 FPS with 0.2g BBs.
- Hop up is difficult to access and adjust without disassembly. Requires you to lock the bolt back, stick a small hex key through a tiny hole through the bottom of the feed ramp, and then rotate a screw that adjusts the hop up with limited movement. I understand that GHK makes a special tool to make this process easier, but you'll probably have to order it overseas.
- My dust cover has trouble locking closed and staying closed. Might have something to do with slight dimension differences with the New Age dust cover and the receiver.
- This is just a minor detail, but the marking says M4V4S which is a rifle with an 11.5" barrel and 10.5" Daniel Defense RIS II rail, whereas the Mk18 has a 10.3" barrel and a 9.5" RIS II rail (which this gun has). For this gun in particular, I think it would've been nice to have the Mk18 marking instead. This isn't a huge issue, and this is the only GBBR with a receiver with the M4V4S marking that I know of.

Conclusion:
The construction is absolutely rigid, but I don't know if I can justify $1,200 for it. For that amount of money, I would've expected an NPAS and maybe a few other upgrades to have come with it.

The RA-Tech Mk18 is a very rigid, reliable GBBR.
