"I rough and tumble with my guns. I know airsoft guns are toys, but I absolutely can't have them made like one.
Which is why I took the plunge for a high-priced, name-brand item like Madbull and bought this. Expensive. Maybe too expensive, but the AGX Grenade Launcher is a built like a bull. Definitely lives up to its namesake on this one. I knew if I bought something cheaper, the mechanism would break. Happens all the time, as simple as grenade launcher trigger mechanisms are (and spare parts for most are out of the question). By buying the AGX, I eliminated those worries entirely.
Post-purchase peace of mind is priceless.
The metal on this is beefy, solid, smooth. No rough edges. Precision machined. Just like everything else we've come to expect from Madbull. Even the plastic feels real-steel grade.
Press the button in front of the trigger guard, and the tube pops open.
Trigger pull is about 3 or 4 pounds. Pretty stiff, but it doesn't bother me.
Standard grenade launcher action, you already know. No hammer or anything. Pull the trigger and the striker comes out of hiding. Release, and it retreats.
Will accept any Madbull Grenade shell. I have one of almost every model.

"This is the launcher I use. It is small enough to be attached to an mp5 without looking out of place, it functions just as one would expect. it is beautiful and it seems to be able to use most 40mm shells out there. This launcher has some heft to it so if you attach it to a weapon expect the weight to increase significantly, but this launcher offers something the m203 doesn't an integrated pistol grip which becomes your vertical grip redistributing weight and suddenly your weapon though heavier is now more comfortable and has the ability to take down hardened targets and groups of hostiles. and in worse case scenarios when you're at a field and your battery dies, or your gun malfunctions or breaks well just detach this launcher and you're back in with a grenade pistol.

"I nice piece but I may have bought this on impulse. Freaks people out when they see it and it gets a few good laughs. Pretty fun to use but here are the cons
Makes your gun (if you mount it on a a rifle) very front heavy
Rather large orange tip, about 2 inches in and out
And there you go, a great full metal launcher.

"Just like the other review, my take is that this GL is the best grenade launcher on the market hands down. I've owned a few grenade launchers and this one seriously and completely beats all of them. It holds up to CO2 pressure no problem. WAY better than the under barrel VFC EGLM (which actually breaks under CO2 pressure). Better build and quality. So friken worth it.
Load/Unload:
Easy to lock and load from the side versus the under barrel launchers. I've used the VFC EGLM and a few under barrel 40mm launchers; and in the heat of battle your best friend is ease of loading. The AGX Mad Bull GL is VERY easy to load. Try loading with an EGLM crouched over under cover? Not fun. With the AGX GL your input mechanism is very quick and simple. Unloading this GL is just as easy as loading.
Comfortability:
Personally I like the pistol handle or bipod grip on a heavy gun and holding an EGLM or under barrel is just way to uncomfortable on the wrists. I may sound like nanny here but I really don't care when it comes to response time and how comfortability helps that.
Internals:
The trigger to BB ejection response time with this GL is the smallest I have seen. This is good. With other GLs it takes forever to get the BBs out upon pulling the trigger. When you acquire a target you want real time deployment. A lot of this has to do with the internals. If you own a Lipo, you'll understand what I am talking about when talkiong about trigger-to-BB response time.
My only complaint/problem is that the safety switch assembly fell out. Not sure how, but it did.

"By far the single best launcher I have ever seen/used. Every part of the launcher is solid and very well built. The upper portion of the launcher is metal, the bottom is high grade polymer. My grenades (ICS High Speed 70 round M203 40mm Airsoft Gas Grenade Shell) fit very tightly and the launchers quality increased their range from 20 yards with an ICS GLM to 25-30 yards with this launcher. I would recommend this launcher to any player looking for a grenade launcher, it is well worth the high price.
Pros:
-High quality
-High accuracy
-Very tightly built
-Steel and high grade polymer construction
-Can easily be used as a stand alone pistol grenade launcher
-Ergonomic design
-Solid safety selection switch
Cons:
-Size and shape somewhat unwieldy
-Slightly heavier than most M203 style launchers
-High cost (most M203's are ~100$, but it is well worth the extra 100$)
all in all, a very good launcher, and a very good buy. 5/5
-Like any launcher it adds weight to the gun.

"Some guy at AP use this in a pistol game. (It qualifies as a pistol) and its crazy! Gonna buy one just to run pistol games with it.

"This is a great launcher mounted on the rifle or as a stand alone weapon. It opens and reloads quite easily and seems to take pretty much any shell. The pistol grip is quite comfortable and the trigger is a easy pull. The only major downside I found was the giant orange tip. I couldn't find anyway other than painting it to make it not so big and gaudy. The fact it is about an inch or so wide kind of gives it away. The short barrel is pretty good for spread and hasn't hindered the spread of shells. All in all, a good launcher except for the bright tip.
