"These shells are identical to the ones that came with the original revolver. To answer everyones question yes it includes 8 shells.

"It does come with eight shells. My only issue is theres a bit of spacing between the shells and the revolver chambers, making the shell extractor useless cause all you have to do is tilt it up and they slide right out. Its more of a personal thing than anything else, Im thinking of wrapping a bit of duct tape around them to make em a little more snug then using some of that silver foil they sell at craft stores to give them a bit more of a shine and realism.
Other than that I like them, all thats missing is the clinking sound when I pop them out of my gun and they hit the ground heh

"I own the ones that come with the gun and I would say that they are very good quality over all. They do not however, fit very snuggly into the chamber so if you are reloading just the bbs, the shells spill all over. Getting extras though are not a bad idea in the long run in case you loose one or one of the shell's rubber insides wear out that hold the bb in place.
But if you are getting them just so you have more... might not be the right call. I will rate them a 4/5 because they are fairly good, but definitely not the best.

"Only buy this for leisurely reloading, meaning: not meant for in battle reloading.

"These shells work just as well as the ones with the gun, are a good price, and are good quality. I rated them a three because you only need them for looks or realisticness. you can just push a bb in the back of a shell while its still in the gun and not have to take the shell out or replace it at all.
