Matrix Dummy Flash Grenade (Color: OD Green)

"It's a little smaller than expected, and the sticker tends to get scuffed and dinged quickly. The spoon is also a little weak and easy to dent up, but, like:

A: If you expect something to be thrown around and beaten up a lot, spend more than $10 on it.
B: At the price point of $10, you can easily get another one of these once it breaks apart.

Anyway this thing works great as a way to store little bits and bobs since you can take off and put back on the top of this thing if you don't mind exerting a little force. It makes for an aesthetically pleasing way to conceal your tactical skittles and assorted hex wrenches on your PCV, or if you're like me, it makes for a fun way to mess with your coworkers when you need to take your lunchtime medication.

"I got this thing to add a little aesthetic to my plate carrier, and I had good judgement. The cylinder part, or body, and the part that holds the spring is polymer. The pin and spoon is a nice metal. I suggest wrapping neon tape around the spoon, or painting the inside of the spoon neon so it isn’t lost easily.

•pin is an easily pull, you can change that by spreading the prongs apart

-CONS-
•since it’s so lightweight, it’s hard to through it far
•sticker had bubbles in it

"This thing is awesome for the price.
Its a bit smaller in the hand than you may think but the spring tension is great and assists with removing the grenade.

PROS:
lightweight
pretty durable
spoon comes off (realism)

CONS:
spoon comes off (might get lost)
sticker not great
metal spoon bends a bit if you squeeze hard

its cool looking not much functional in terms of bangs. i recommend pushing down on the top of the grenade and spoon to put the pin in and not squeezing the pin down

"This grenade is good for the price and I would certainly recommend it. However, I did notice a few things with the one I received:

-Sticker will start to have noticeable indents if thrown around too hard/often but that's more of a pet peeve

-The hole for the pin is lower than it needs to be. The hooks on the spoon no longer catch the bar on the grenade itself, resulting in the spoon flying out of your hands when you pull the pin

To remedy this issue I will experiment with drilling a new hole for the pin further up on the top section of the grenade. I will write another review if I'm successful, but in the meantime, if you're looking for an affordable dummy grenade, I would recommend this one.
