" I don't know what the reviews below me mean, when i received mine, there was no protrusion to remove.
" When I first got this i had trouble getting it on, because they have a circular bent piece of metal under the arms that grab on to your rail. I drilled this piece down so that I could get it mounted. Overall this is a pretty solid rail and it raises your red dot sights just perfectly(not too high not too low). cons- need to do simple modifications to mount onto weapon and it could be a little longer.
" It is a cheap rail raiser. Will not fit onto the rail unless you get rid of the protrusion on the bottom of the raiser.
