Never had an issue with this tracer. Since I play outside I've never been hit in the tracer so I've never needed a replacement cap. Just remember to charge it every once and a while.

"The products works perfectly! It does in the package state that you should only be using greens, which I have been and cannot complain about the unit's performance. My only complaint is the end cap, the piece where the glossy X is at the end, has terrible build quality. My first time fielding this product, both the original and replacement end cap had 3 of the 6 securing teeth break off after very minimal drops. Its nothing that cannot be fixed with glue or electrical tape.

If you want to shoot lasers, buy this.

"I bought this for my WE GBB Open Bolt CQB M4. Works great, and tough. Everything I would expect in a unit like this. I leave it installed as a permanent add on barrel extension/suppressor for my short CQB, to give the look of the longer barrel. I have even had it on for non tracer rounds, and it gives that little bit of muzzle flask, perfect for the beefy WE Open bolt to add even more of an impression. Don't hesitate to buy if you are looking for a quality tracer unit.

I don't understand the design of making that part two separate pieces. I would recommend super glueing the end cap onto the metal outer shell immediately if you where to purchase one. Aesthetics, 3/5.
