" For those who are on the fence of getting a spring setup or gas, Id have to say that the spring option will be much more reliable. I owned the gas version and it would leak after one day of use. It shoots poorly in terms of range and accuracy. The big factor is the charging rack, however if you get the s III VER , it is not that hard rack with the combination of a stock and vertical grip. It makes a big difference with the grip and support from the pistol grip to the stock. Although I would not recommend this stock less for cqb. This shoots pretty well at a100 ft. The spread is tight. I’m sure heavier bb will perform better. It even has a hop up adjustment on this gun so it’s a nice touch.
" I went with the S-II. This thing is very compact, and has a very nice effective range for how small it is. It hops .28 no problem. I likely would've gone with the longer full stock model if I planned to use this as a primary, it is fairly hard to rack the slide without a stock, and especially with the undecorated pump grip, which has little finger grooves not pictured btw (very nice). I put a Strike Industries Link Curved Foregrip on it and it made it much easier to rack and handle. This is probably the best line of spring shotguns on the market, and the S-II is the smallest I've been able to find.
