Classic Army Full Metal M16A1 M15A1 - (Package: Rifle)

"I love my retro pews in my collection. I actually have several Vietnam Era M16A1s from several manufacturers including this offering from Classic Army. Other than my G&P Colt M16A1 from G&P and my upgraded Tokyo Marui Colt M16A1
this CA is definitely worth the $270 I paid for it 3-4 years ago The gun comes preupgraded internally with a solid CA V2 gearbox with 9mm bearings and a 6.03 brass tbb and rotary hopup along with high torque steel gears and an inline mosfet with a deans plug pre-installed. Stock the gun shoots pretty hot...I was getting 405-415fps but has since settled to 390-400. The upper and lower reciever are made or good quality metal and the XM/Car15 style adjustable stock and slim Era correct slim handguard are made of a dense nylon reinforced polymer. I also love that the stock CA rotary hopup is pretty accurate out ot the box. I was able to hop .32s well out to 200ft in semi..full auto 150ft is going be about your limit..
Another favorite feature with the CA M15A1 (M16) is the function bolt catch and release that makes adjusting your hopup on the fly much easier and the other is the massive battery storage space in the fixed stock.Typically I run a Titan 11.1 2600mah lI ion battery and it fits bigger batteries Than that. Great gun for anyone who wants to get am ERA CORRECT impression kit put together and doesn't want to dropp $500+ upgraded a TM or G&,P..One of my favorite pews in my arsenal for sure. Fully loaded with battery the rif weighs approx 6.5-7lb. My only gripe with the replica is it comes with a crappy CA 190 round vn style midcap that feeds like dog Dookie. Get some G&P 110 round vn midcaps or Mag brand 130 round vn mags and you'll be much happier. Overall I think this is a great gun. I love the CA XM177 same gearbox different externals. Externally 9/10 Performance: 8/10 Price/Value: 8.5/10 Overall 4.5/5 stars an overall great gun and I highly recommend it. It is a head turner at weekend skirmishes. Not just another boring a$$ M4..

"This is a really nice replica for the price, i really recoomend it.
Pros
-Full metal, nice alluminium receiver, steel sling points and front sight assembly.
-6.03 brass inner barrel, 509mm long.
-Accurate Vietnam era A1 receiver.
-Decent quality paint.
Lightweight(Under 3 kilo).
-Very good battery space.
-Good feeling handguard, stock and pistol grip.
-Mosfet installed.
-Pretty good internals.
-Decent motor.
-Nice range and accuracy.
-Gearbox is Blowback ready.
-Working bolt cath.
Cons
-Charging handle is a little loose.
-Mock bolt uses a metal guide in top of the gearbox(same place as you use for blowback) and that metal guide broke on me(i slam charging handle a with strenght lol) making charging handle really hard to pull, however, it was an easy repair.

"I received my M16 and was ecstatic. The more I look at it, the better replica it appears. It shoots nicely and is easily the nicest airsoft gun I have ever owned. Non-fenced lower, correct Delta/slip ring, A1 upper receiver, correct markings and trades.

I believe I was sold a display model as it was already dirty and had some minor scratches, but I will still give a five star review for the product itself and write Evike a strongly worded yet coldly polite email.
