A main feature of an ICS M4 is it's two piece gearbox. The upper gearbox can be slided out and replaced in the middle of battler within a minute or two. Having an extra gearbox for an ICS M4 is equivalent to having a spare gun when you needed a spare.

    "This is a very good system, i have two uppers one for speed that has a m100 spring and one for long distance it has a m120 in it. I have found that they several really good things about the ICS Split Gear Box System, #1 very easy to change out upper half right on the playing field, #2 alot easyer to work on and up grade then the conventional gear box, #3 Great quialty for the price #4 shoot really well. I would have to say probalbly the best setup i have ever owned and i have had just about ever kind of gearbox thats madedon. Cons: non at this time.
