"I did not buy this, I got it out of a trade minus a spring that keeps the safety on and pressure against the slide release (prior owner fiddled with it, lost the spring, decided to get rid of it). Looking to get a replacement spring; other than that, functions as it should.
Couldn't be happier with backyard performance. .28g at range of 30-40 yards are accurate, the kick is superb with the compensator and the sights are great for target acquisition. .25g work just fine as well. Mags last just over 2 loads for me; I found the speed mags (with the bulbous grip) to be finnicky in filling with gas, leaking more than taking, despite the longer fill needle. Weight feels similar to a real 1911 and the long eye relief between front and back sights are great for aiming (tip my hat to you Browning). The trigger is straight pull, which eliminates the pull of the trigger finger that (for me) causes me to aim to the left.
The mag descriptions say they are compatible with We-Tech 1911s, have yet to test that out. The gun is red, green and Co2 gas compatible giving you a lot more season to play.
After some disassembling and reassembling, then disassembling, the slide wouldn't come off. Weird. So I put both thumbs behind the slide flanking the hammer and firmly pushed till it gave. What I believe to be happening is that the striker that releases the gas from the mag is stuck in the on position leaving the metal piece on the left side of the lower 'up' causing the slide to stay on the lower. Once I tapped down the metal piece, the gas striker retracted. Now the slide moves freely on and off the lower without a problem.
The solution, at least my hunch, is to spray some silicone oil into those moving parts since wracking the slide is part of the process of disassembly and will allow those parts to move freely. Please also be aware that if you push the rounded part of the slide catch ever so slightly with your finger when you draw, the inside catch will lock the slide up as there are two small crooks that keep the slide catch between the slide walls. Make the habit to keep your trigger finger below the slide catch to avoid this.
AW has some upgraded barrels for this puppy (AW Custom 6.01mm "Triad" Inner Barrel w/ High Performance Bucking Upgrade Set (Length: 109.9mm // ID: 67342 (Barrel-AW-A15004)). I cannot wait to drop them in and see the improved performance on an already great performing gun.
Great gun to CQB/start with!

"This is going to be a Christmas present. But of course I had to test it out first. It comes with the compensator not attached to the pistol, so it has no orange marking on it. ++ has a good weight to it and is loud. kick is good as well. Make sure to burp the mag to get out the air pockets.
Hop Up unit all the way down overhops .25s like crazy not sure what the deal is with that. After 50-60 feet the bb goes to the moon.
All in All its going to be a great Christmas Gift.

"Powerfull and loud with co2, I can tag the post on the chain link fence in my back yard at 25 yards all day shoots farther than that just no targets that far set up yet.
So far so good built well shoots great,
Inexpensive, wish they made a high cap may for this
Since you can get about 40-50 shots from one co2 charge.
Would like to add that this is parts compatible with all other NE model pistols.

"The pistol is pretty nice overall. only issue I had was the ambi thumb switch broke the first day. Just keep that in mind if you plan on buying this pistol. It feels really nice and works well. I would recommend this gun to buy as a solid sidearm.

"It looks cool and shoots alright, although the blowback with green gas isn't that great. Slide also doesn't lock back half of the time. I replaced the grips with nicer ones because the included imitation wood is pretty gross and a little too thick for my hands. The slide/barrel are also super wobbly and squeaky. And the paint (I got the black version) is easily scratched off from drops or just accidentally hitting something.
It's a really sick looking 1911 though.
