Matrix Airsoft M4 M16 "Scar Face" Conversion Kit w/ M203 Gas Grenade Launcher

"Like the last person said. It sucks youll have to take it apart to put it on with no instructions. It comes with both front sight pins already taken out. Youll have to pound the smaller gas tube pin out. I used a small alan key and a hammer. Youll have to take the plastic upper heat/hand guard off then take the launcher off. 2 large alan bolts on each side. Then put everything back on and your good to go. Looks amazing. I put mine on a CYMA M16A1. I didnt use the inner barrel or hop up it came with. I just used the one that was already in my CYMA. The upper heat/hand guard is plastic along with the ribbed launcher tube on bottom. The launcher tube is metal along with the outer barrel front sight and launcher sight. It’s definitely worth the $150. I mean you dont have any other choice buying one besides this one. It looks and works good. Thats all that matters. Just spend the $150 youll happy.

"This thing is awesome. Build quality is very high, but the fact that it comes already assembled is actually a bit annoying because you have to disassemble it to fit it onto an upper receiver and this can be a real pain because no instructions are provided. Getting the launcher on/off is easy, the tough part is getting the barrel assembly itself onto the gun. The trick I found was to loosen the very small Allen screw holding the front sight block in place and then sliding it forward to get the fake gas tube out of the way so you can screw the delta ring onto the receiver. Once it’s on move the gas tube and sight block back into position and tighten the screw to lock it all in position. Once it’s all put together though this thing really looks and feels amazing and is well worth the money. Don’t hesitate if you need this to complete your Vietnam/ Cold War grenadier loadout, god knows when or where youll be able to buy one when it goes out of stock.

Looks good . Installation was a pain but they do leave the 2 roll pins out of the front sight so it is not to bad to install.
Don't know why every one has switched to the AR type delta ring (sucks) when the Tokyo Muri type work just fine and are easy to do.
The included Inner is the standard brass. Measured out at roughly 6.08 - 6.05mm .
Orange tip is easy to remove . Just inserted a small flat tool in between the vent holes and twisted off.
The orange tip on the 203 is easy too . I just used some large channel locks , applied pressure in about 5-6 different locations around the tube , and you can hear the glue crack. Came off all in one piece and no glue left behind.
Wanted to use my Angel Custom SS 6.02 and CNC hop-up . Making it a breeze to swap back and forth between my Vietnam A1 look and a funner 203 launcher.
But NO GO ! The stock brass inner has an 8.43mm OD but the SS has a 8.52mm OD and you guessed it. IT WONT FIT !
The clearance is to TIGHT !
So for now I will play around with the stock inner and hopup.
I don't want to pull my hop-up and inner apart as it is set up well for around 275ft w/.28g @ 390FPS consistent.

All in all loogs good and other then the stock inner should work well. Feels solid and mostly of metal with the exception of the top hand guard and the 203 tube slider. and the cheep orange tips are plastic .

"Got this grenade launcher after being out of stock forever. VERY nice build quality, put it on a matrix m16a4 gbbr and not very much modification was needed to install. However, it couldn't fire my madbull using the grenade launcher so I had to tape a drawing pin to the "primer" of the shell and had to slam it shut so it would fire. If anything else happens, ill update the review.
