JG Complete Reinforced Metal Version 3 Gearbox with Motor for AUG Series Airsoft AEG

"Bought this for my ASG AUG that has basically been transformed into a JG after the original gearbox died.

Solidly built and performs well, I swapped out the gears for some helical gears. I run my Aug with a pretty long inner barrel and I have no problem using .30s. Only downsides are having to use an 11.1v LiPo to get any decent cycle time which means more heat and the fact the motor wires are soldered directly onto the motor tabs making it harder for anyone who potentially wants to swap motors. Other than that, there's not many options of AUG users when it comes to complete gearboxes that don't cost too much and you even get a quick change spring.

"Bought this to replace the 6+ year old gear box i maintained horribly, Was basically Identical to what i pulled out of my C-Tac AUG minus the burnt out soldering and dried out piston, Unless you have a Higher Grade model of rifle this was pretty much Plug and play with no changes, pulled the old one out popped the new one in after swapping over the hop-up cover, screwed the inner buttplate back in and the rifle worked like new. Fps with .20g bbs was around 365 which was perfect. (C-TAC sells theirs shooting at 425FPS out of the box, Little too high for an Assault rifle)

Only thing I really want to Upgrade from this package is the motor, sounds a little weak when firing in semi, not really even a problem I just dont like how it sounds, it performs quite well really.
Dont be thinking this is an upgrade especially if you already have a High Grade Model, would mostly say its a good replacement if your gearbox fails like mine did.

"NOT high cycle getting about 18-19rps on 11.1lipo @ 310-328max FPS(stock) All 3 gears will have to be shimmed other than that looks decent for the price

"I got this gearbox to replace the old one in my AUG A1,The gearbox works good i haven't chrono it yet but seems aver 350 i recommend this gearbox

"Decent enough gearbox but does NOT match what came with the stock JG AUG A3. Bushings are plastic...no MOSFET and the wiring to the motor was short and poorly soldered. Excellent as a project gearbox or used for part replacement but don't expect to just swap gearboxes without some work.
