"if you brake one of these you will break many more so just buy 2 or 3 at a time ive had my pistol for 4 months and every once and a while when you go to load your mag you will pull it down put the mag down to grab some bbs but this part shoots up and cracks in half so do urself a favor and buy 2 or 3

"These followers do break easy but that's just the nature of them and these are the only ones out there. I just bought 4 and haven't broken any so far.
All together 8/10 because they do sometimes break

"I got an extra one of these for my WE G19 mags. It fits perfectly and does it’s job. It is very weak though. If you speedload through the bottom of your G series mag, you will risk breaking these. Just be really careful with them, because they are very brittle.

"As the previous reviewer stated, these are a MUST have if you own single stack mags.
The problem is that they break way to dang easily, and they WILL break if you accidentally release the spring while loading the mags, which is an all to easy mistake to make. Unless you are EXTREMELY careful while loading, I advise you buy a couple of these.
I think WEtech should make them in metal so as to avoid the constant breaking. It would save the average airsofter money in the long run (paying $20 for a one metal follower, or $10 for two plastic ones)
but for now, you are stuck with the plastic followers, and you will need them... if you aren't looking at this page to buy replacements anyway.

"I'm rating this in the middle because there's a pro, and a con, to these.
The pro: You can buy them.
The con: You have to buy them.
I've owned my WE 1911 MEU for about 3 months now, put it through 2 skirmishes at the local CQB warehouse, and several small weekend games, the gun is pretty good, worth the $100. However, one slip with the follower in the mag and it's toast. The spring in the mag is too powerful for this little guy and if you slip, it WILL break. So if you do break one, make sure to get a bunch of these... I'm getting ready to order 10 of them so I don't have to dick around with it anymore.
Also, yes, I am careful with these, but accidents do happen, especially when you're only concentrating about 50% on the actual reloading process (talking, laughing, telling stories, etc).

"meh these stock parts are pretty poop in my opinion. I swear if you have a we or tm g17 your follower will for sure break before any other part on the gun.... so yea just get your self a poly carb one if you plan on replacing it you might as well get an upgraded one.. or if you really wanted to save that dollar or two per follower just jb weld the back of it and you should be ok for a while. 1 star because they break REALLY easily and need modification to be reliable.
btw followers will still work when broken it is just a pain in the but if you bottom load your mags.
