" this Is an extremely solid piece for an ak, If you want to put a crane stock on your ak (which is what I did, I used the matrix "fat type'' crane stock with metal buffer tube).its also got a sling mount that can go on either side which is noce. a few things to note about this piece though is that if your gun has wires that would normally go into a stock, you will have to cut them and feed them through a small hole in this adapter, which is the noly way to get the wiring through to the buffer tube. I did this and changed the small Tamiya connector to a deans, mostly because the battery that I bought is a deans type, but also because deans type connectors are way eaisier to re wire and solder onto the wires. Over all this is a great item and it will give your ak an awesome tactical look, but the rewiring is something to think about.
