" I've been fielding and plinking with this gun for over a year now and it's still chugging. Besides changing out the spring for lower fps, it still has its stock internals. I suppose it's slow by today's standards, but it shoots straight and far, even without the hop-up adjusted. I've already had two people tell me that my gun sounds like its batteries are dying.
Performance aside, I got this gun mostly for its externals and because it's featured in some of my favorite video games. As my first AEG, it's unique but I can still disassemble it like an M4. When I saw it had a quick change spring guide, I read it as the easy spring access system. The spring is not accessible from the lower receiver, you still need to take out the gearbox shell to change the spring.
Because it's front wired, I have to pry and slide up the handguard to access the battery compartment. Maybe it's just me but I found myself pinching wires during reassembly. The skeleton folding stock is rigid, yet easy to collapse. There are holes under the handguard that aren't necessarily threaded but can fit M-LOK screws for mounting a pic rail/foregrip (at least that's what I did). Solid build quality and a lot of upgrade potential.
Tl;dr It's old, but solid. It still feels pretty good holding this gun.
" Enjoyed Killzone 2 or STALKER? You'll love this gun.
Simple AEG that does the job the unique spin on the design of the M4. The heatshield and the handguard is all that is needed to catch eyes on the field. In terms of performance, it is pretty basic for what it is and the price, I was able to hit guys a little over 110 feet with .25g BBs. When I got it, I switched out the motor for an ASG 30K motor so I can get the preferred trigger response and rate of fire. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the charging handle is purely cosmetic, it does not flip open the dust cover. You need to manually pry it open and keep it open whilst adjusting the hopup. For 230 dollars, I expected a little more. Other from that I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a unique M4.
" If you're a Metal Gear Solid V fan, then you'll probably love this gun.
Pros:
~Unique handguard
~Side folding skeleton stock
~Full Metal Receiver
~Unique hand grip
Cons:
~Tight battery compartment (handguard itself)
~Orange flash hider is a pain to remove
Overall, this was my first AEG rifle I got for my 18th birthday. But I've had no major gripes or issues. I definitely recommend this as a beginner's AEG.
