"Standard Chinese gearbox - nothing special. Uses 8mm bushings/bearings (not included, neither are screws). I would highly suggest radiusing the front corners of the cylinder opening. I've seen two version 6 gearboxes crack at the front so far (possibly just from age or lemons/poor QC, but better safe than sorry). Decent price for what you get - V6 shells can be a bit hard to find. If you want to use a regular V2/3 gearset, go for the CYMA gearbox as it has the elongated bushings which can be rotated to use either V6 or V2/3 gearsets depending on the orientation. For those who don't know, the Version 6 gearbox uses a spur gear (the flat one) that is smaller than a V2/3 spur gear.

"Bought this to house my Siegetek 20:1 DSG because of CYMA's P90 Quality Control. My stock gearbox has waves in the rails for the piston and needs like 40 (exaggeration) shims to take up the space between gears.
However, this won't work with that gear set because the 20:1 ratio takes advantage of the version 6 oblong bushings and need to be reversed. It will only allow stock sized gears to mesh.
That being said, another review says this takes 7mm bushings, however I used 8mm bearings in a different Indoor setup instead, and they fit like bearings should.

"I recently purchased this shell and a motor mount to refurbish a used P90. The shell doesn't come with any paperwork, so I had no idea what size bushings it took. I used some 7mm steel bushings I purchased to see if they fit and they slid right in with no problem.

Definitely a good buy for my rebuild.

"Don't expect this thing to drop into a cyma p90 like I did, you will be disappointed. That being said, it does work. I just ran into consistent double feeds on semi by moving my internals to this shell. The cyma box is slightly different than jg in shape but it didn't seem like it would matter. Anyway after a few days of back and fourth between extending the nozzle and doing hop mods I found that it required a SHORTER nozzle than the cyma box. I had a lonex p90 nozzle and it was flawless in the cyma box but apparently too long for the jg, had to use a short ak style nozzle and even had to shave it some (modded tappet for nozzle extension during my confusion). So it's roughly 19mm now I'd say. Could be an alignment issue with my cyma body or something but anyway it worked so I can't complain. Jg always has tough shells and I have high hopes for this one now that it feeds properly. It's 7mm but can easily be Dremeled to 8mm. She bearings fit perfectly flush- just an fyi. Besides the double feeds everything else from the cyma box fit fine. You can in fact run v2 gears in this, I have a set of zci 16:1s in mine. Only issue was that the arl sits over the spur and contacts it if you shim the spur too high. Easy fix, just place a few shims under the arl till it doesn't bind. One last thing- these things don't have as much material up front as other gearboxes so radiusing is a must. Good luck FN fans!
