New to the CYMA lineup is the Quick Buffer System (QBS) which allows for rapid spring changes that can be done by hand. This efficient new system only requires the removal of your buffer tube castle nut to gain access to the captured guide rod and spring. No longer is it necessary to break open your receiver or even remove your stock from the buffer tube to change a spring.

"Got a latest batch as of 2025 (13'' M-LOK model), according to CYMA they fixed the Mosfet issue. However, my mosfet died after 3 games in a span of a month (I only used 7.4V because I know of this issue but it still died).

So I put a Perun Hybrid V2 into it along with a Trigger unit. This thing is a beast now, shoot like a laser beam with 11.1V on full auto. My Perun I keep the rest at factory settings except I have binary trigger on for my semi-auto.

My advice is if you get this gun, be ready to replace the Mosfet even though CYMA said they fixed/improved the it.

This thing is still deserved a 5 stars from me. 10/10 would buy another CYMA Plat again.

"Solid gun, feeds all my midcaps well without any issues. Upgraded the bucking and nub out the box, but other than that everything runs stock. Consistently shooting 150' accurately with .25g bbs. Only con was getting the muzzle brake off to throw on a suppressor.

"As of July 2025 these do have the upgraded metal rotary hopup which comes with a concave hop nub which is a good surprise. I highly recommend this as a base gun for an extremely snappy custom build or if you just want a great gun out of the box that needs no upgrades (but you should still put in a perun v2 anyways).

Current internal mods:
- Perun V2 hybrid
- EMG x Retro Arms flat trigger
- 4UAD bucking
- Madbull 6.03 inner barrel
- EMG "Max Performance" SP125 spring
- shimmed to _0.1mm side to side play

Using an 11.1V lipo and precocking, the trigger response is extremely quick and with proper shimming the gears are silent when firing outdoors. An unfortunate side effect of the 12 tooth sector gear is that it reduces the overall piston draw so with those mods it is only shooting 370fps with 0.2g. However, the gun is an absolute laser and I've been able to consistently hit 175-200ft shots during games. Planning to use an EMG brushless 24-39k motor in future.

Pros:
- very snappy already out of the box
- rotary hopup
- very high quality feel
- stock motor is pretty high torque
- deans connector

Extremely minor cons:
- handguard is only held in by 2 grub screws
- upper and lower receivers are very tight fit so reassembling can be tricky
- shimming could be better but did not sound bad out of the box
