"Mine out of the box shot 280 fps with .20 gram bbs. The stock was also wobbling but that was an easy fix. The trigger pull is long so don’t expect to use it like an SSG by G&G. The battery space is average but you really only need a 7.4 or something similar as 11.1 feels too powerful for the guns internals. It is also a heavy gun so hit the gym if you’re gonna use this thing. If you’re going to buy this gun, I’d first buy an M4/AK first just in case this gun breaks down. (Not that it has terrible internals but it’s no G&G or VFC.) If you’re looking to buy another gun to buy to add to a collection, this is a must have. As a first gun, I wouldn’t recommend.

"I have had this gun since 2018 and now just writing a review. If you're looking for accuracy and decent range this is the gun for you! especially for beginners. Unlike others I got lucky and my stg44 was and still is in great condition! after 5 years of use! and Barely cleaned XD highly recommend this gun and get it if you've been thinking about it.

"At first I was skeptical because of the brand and how the hop up looked. Once I took it to a game it dominated on the field with distance and firepower with a 11 v battery. This gun is 390+ out of the box. Magazines will be hard to find. I found 4 extra magazines on another site. Also you can use p90 mag pouches for these magazines. If u want authentic mag pouches go to thefront.com. This gun is 100% worth the price. This is one of my top choices in games to use. Plus everyone says complements about it. It feels like you have a massive ak47. This is the ONLY brand that makes this gun so if u ever see it in stock and always wanted it just buy it. That’s what I did and I regret nothing

"I've had thos gun for 5 months and I like it. I had one issue when I first opened it. The stock was wobbly and lose and I had to drill it to make it fit the 9.6v battery. After several wars it finally started to lose fast. The material is cheap steel but still better that polymer. If they sold it for 230$ I would recommend it to someone but it way over priced. 4.5 stars

"well as a person who owns five of them i can recommend it to people
i recommend a 7.4 lipo battery for best use at lest three back up mags you can go through them quick
pros

good range i would say 90 to 110 yards or meters
high ammo count 430 bbs per mag

cons

a little on the heavy side
sometimes the gun out of the box the stock will fall of fix with wood glue and better screws
no mid caps but you can ,mod a old high cap to one
other then that i can not think of anything

"I used mine so many times its now withered, the inner barrel is 450mm, and it takes standard M4 parts, the handguard is steel and the mag is steel. I upgraded mine and it shoots far and like a lazer, its a very good gun

"The gun is a great addition to any history buff that loves this sport. The gun is fun to use and the only problem I have found is the bolt Catch will not stay closed on mine I'll be shooting and it will gust pop open.

Ps I thought it came with a battery mine didn't so hop you have a stick tipe battery laying around

"I’m a big fan of the AGM/Matrix WWII guns. The weight on this is great, the feel is great, and the “out of the box” accuracy was awesome! My only issue however was taking the butt stock/backplate off to get the battery. I had to use a small ball peen hammer to actually knock the framing.(I used padding to not damage the metal.) The stock was wobbly, and a screw fell out as I opened it. So, after assessing that the screws that were put in at the factory were unsuitable, I used a 1 1/4 inch would screw, and that tightened it right up. So, I’ve seen a lot of comments talking about a loose stock, and expected that, but, it was an easy remedy! This is one of my favorite machine guns ever, and AGM/Matrix knocked it out of the park with this! It’s a Christmas present for my son, so technically it’ll be another month before it actually sees the light of day… But, I did get to sneak out and play with it for a little bit… Don’t tell Santa! LOL

"This air soft gun has been a great addition to my collection. Not only does it look aesthetically awesome, but it performs as stated. This is a great WWII replica and I highly recommend. I will state however, as many of you have, that the battery storage compartment is a bit-challenging to fit a full size LIPO. That being said, it is a great overall gun,.

"I finally decided to splurge on a nice airsoft gun (or two). I'm a huge history buff and had committed to purchasing a quality WWII replica. This one was the first I came across and the one I ended up ordering and let me tell you, this beauty will not disappoint. In fact, it down-right blew my socks of.

Pros
- Incredibly realistic weight. Heavy (sling recommended), but fantastically true to the real deal. As a history guy, I love that.

- Sturdy and durable construction. There isn't a single loose piece on the entire weapon. Not to mention, it is completely composed of metal (excluding the orange tip) and 100% real wood for the butt stock.

- Feels outstanding. With the balanced, realistic weight and sturdy structure, this gun is very satisfying to wield.

- High FPS. I understand that many of you play on fields that have restrictions in terms of FPS, but if you're just playing with some mates and want to tear each other up, then this gun will give you a significant edge. I consistently shoot 430 FPS with 0.30s.

- Exceptional range. Partially do to the barrel design, this weapon can shoot well over 175-200 feet with decent accuracy. So, in other words, it pretty much doubles as a sniper rifle.

- Good rate of fire (RoF). I use a 9.6v battery for mine, which probably ramped up the RoF a bit. But yeah, it's as good as about any other AEG assault rifle out there.

Cons
- N/A

I say, there really isn't anything wrong with this gun. It's absolutely everything you could want from a WWII replica, AEG rifle. I love it and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine WWII replica or even just a gun to rule the battlefield with. Fantastic weapon! Also, thanks to Evike for spiffy customer service. This is the place to order when it comes to airsoft, chaps.

"I've owned this gun for more than three years, and there hasn't been any problems with it. The only thing that might mature into a problem is that you can't go prone with this weapon because the magazine is so long, and if you buy the mag pouches for it, you'll have to deal with BB's spilling out as the mags are stored upside down in the pouches.

"So far owning this STG44 replica was my pleasant experience and it is a very nice novelty collection. I have been using this gun for almost a month only for my backyard plinking since I have no plan using this for airsoft skirmishes. I tested the gun at my backyard about 21 feet distance, it was very accurate. Also, I replaced the orange muzzle tip with a 3D printed black muzzle tip to further realism look. Owning a replica STG44 helps to complete my German WWII replica arsenal collection. As for skirmishes event, I would lean more to AK, AR, FN or H&K platform. There were couple of problems I encountered which are having this gun jammed once and sometimes misfeeding issue but it was fixable and it works flawlessly again. The weight of this gun is about 10 - 11lbs which is comparable to authentic firearm model. The weight wasn't a problem for me because I did lots of weight training exercise and I'm a build of 5'9" 153lbs with lean muscles. This AGM STG44 model does not have a blowback function, it would be nice though for the kick. The mock charging bolt handle is for the show but it gives a nice sound to it. The battery and charger are not included (Can be purchase separately). Some of my gripes for this gun are the bolt chamber door is difficult to keep it shut, inserting the battery while tucking the cord into the frame is also difficult and the fire selector switch should have replicate like the original model. Field stripping this gun is quite straightforward. Eventually, I will replace the hop-up unit and the inner barrel to enhance the muzzle velocity, accuracy and firing distance. This AGM STG44 is a nice inexpensive alternate of Shoei own. I certainly would love to own the original surviving STG44 firearm, I wouldn't put my high hope for that. Overall, I'm very satisfied of this purchase and shipment was prompt. Great service from Evike!

My rating for this airsoft model would be 8.8 out of 10

and 5 stars for the customer service.

"Ive owned this gun for 4 years and it finally stopped working. Never once had a problem with it until now (it started to have feeding issues). It performs very well with great accuracy, range, and fps with .25g bbs. Time to buy another one because i dont feel like tracking down the tec at my local field to figure iut whats wrong with it lol

"I'm giving this gun 5 stars because low star ratings don't make the top page, and if you're reading this, I want you to know what I really think, not the watered down garbage Evike seems to want you to read. Do NOT buy this gun unless you are desperate to get your hands on an Stg44... while it looks wonderful, I have had this gun for roughly 6 months now, and let me tell you that you are wasting your money. Here's why:

1.) The gun came with broken teeth in the gearbox.
2.) The hop up will not stay set... it is cheap plastic and will break before you send 10,000 rounds through it.
3.) The mags never feed. I have purchased 10 magazines, and only FOUR of them feed MOST of the time... you heard me right... that is 180$ on magazines alone only to have four of them unreliably function... and yes, I've worked at the gun's magwell to verify it isn't just the weapon itself.

I really wanted to make this gun work, and I put in probably 40 hours working on it. I replaced the gearbox with a premium matrix gearbox, I put in a new hop up, I ground down parts of the stamped magazines that were poorly constructed... I could field strip, clean, and reassemble that thing blind folded... with all that passion and care, I have gotten an unreliable piece of junk, and Evike should be ashamed to be putting a 5 star rating on any matrix product... their batteries will die after 3 uses, their bbs are terrible quality, their guns are lemons by and large, and I for one am sick to my stomach at the thought of how much money, time, effort, and love I put into a product that neither Evike nor AGM should have EVER put into the world. If anyone from Evike is reading this, I really hope you'll reach out to me to further discuss this.

"Excellent gun, my only complaint is that the metal it's made of is too weak to stand up the the charging handle being sent forward
