Very Loud. Hard kick.
More obnoxious than any of my Guns.

I set the adjustable to 340 so I can change from Field FPS to CQB FPS in seconds by dropping in a different bolt carrier assembly.

Gun is heavy and solid. Gen III model has all the upgrades that fix most of what people had problems with such as cracking stocks. I have had mine about a year and it works awesome still.

As with all GBBs you should tear down and lube/grease moving parts and check bolts to be tight. Valve has a tendency to loosen as does the one in the recoil spring assembly.
As hard as this gun kicks its no surprise.
I actually enjoy the gun maintenance so its a pro for me.

Feilded this gun saturday and it was amazing! the range is great, the kick is a lot of fun, the sound intimidates people, and it is surprisingly accurrate. Lube it a lot. this thing really sucks up the lube. I recomend buying an NPAS and lots of spare mags for this. Lots of people will come up to you and ask you about this gun. Only cons i can think of is mag capacity and mag price but if you have the money this is what you want. I will never go back to AEGs.

"I just received my SCAR, it was more than i expected. The whole gun is solid, no wobbles or creaks. It ways more than I anticipated, but I prefer it that way. I also was surprised on how loud it was. Your friends and oppents will be wondering "WTF was that!" I am very impressed, this is a most buy for anyone looking to get a GBB that is affordable. I only had one problem, the stock button that holds the stock in place came broken. It seems to be acommon problem. Just call EVIKE and they will ship you a replacement part. I could care less about the button, the badassness of the gun outweighted that issue.

Verdict: great gun, realistic as heck, awesome field stripping, heavy (good thing), HARD recoil & LOUD... must buy!

"I preordered this gun about a month before it came out. When I got it I was extremely happy with it. The by far greatest part about this gun is the blowback kick it has. With that kick it just makes it so much more fun to use. This gun is also very loud, so don't even bother sneakin up on people. I've run into only a few problems with it. First is the spare mag it came with, from my preorder, comes loose when i try to fill it with gas. Second, the original mag it came with now has a gas leak, it's a WE get used to it. Third is its lack of accuracy past like 30ft. Fourth, rails are a little fat and the scope I bought for it is slightly crooked but holds onto the rails with no problem. Last, the pin to release the whole lower receiver has worn away at the plastic hole so if i tilt the gun it will completely fall out, so now i have to tape it in. Overall a good gun, just lubricate it. Too bad they don't have any replacement lower receivers but whatever.

Shoots at about 336 with .25's (I chrono'd it myself multiple times with two different chronographs just for consistancy and accuracy)

"I got this gun around a week ago and have spent quite a few rounds through it so far. I had to fire many mags through it, to get the hopup to do what I wanted, but I hear that's usual with these guns. I have yet to have a hiccup with this rifle.
The build quality is quite nice, super solid, no barrel wobble or any wobble from the stock at all, which frankly surprises the hell out of me, since the stock connecting to the receiver is plastic. I did the usual break down and lube on it (the breakdown is super easy, only 30 seconds or so), as the rifle was quite dry. Get use to doing this routine after each game, as it will be needed after each extended use.
Firing the gun is nothing short but fun! The kick back isn't as hard as the WE M4's are, but it will still jostle your arm. Note, this is only my experience from using green gas, I hear that the C02 version has a harder kick. I have yet to shoot the rifle outside, due to cooler weather conditions, but in doors, it's makes quite a racket.
From what I understand, the green gas guns that are sold here, are already setup to use C02, you just choose what mag you want and they ship it with the gun, I'm not positive, but hopefully a mod can confirm or deny.

PROS:

CONS:
30 round mags (could be a pro to some mil sims)
Paint is already flaking off, so touch up will be needed
Cool down with any gas gun
Hard to shoot solid on a cold day

Is it worth? In my opinion, YES!

"LUBRICATE IT BEFORE YOU FIRE IT!!!

I got mine just the other day, I watched the video before buying mine so I knew to lube it. When I took mine out of the box I could see why. I tore it down and found little to no Lube at all. (SUPER EASY TEAR DOWN can be done with no tools and to tear down the barrel assembly the tool is attached to the gun itself it can be done in the field if needed.)

The bolt has a bit of a rough finish, and feels a bit gritty when pulling back the bolt but after some use this should change just make sure that you clean it really well after a few uses. after a while I'm sure everything with function smoothly and you'll have no problems.

Overall. I really like this gun. has a great feel, the tear down is super simple. I didn't like the rear slip up sight too much so I put a red dot sight on it. all in all, I think I'd throw away most my AEG's because this is for sure the next generation. they even have a big of a kick because the bolt assembly is metal. (I wouldn't really throw away my AEG's but I would definatly buy another GBBR instead)

"Excellent Gun.

Lubricate it well with your standard silicon oil and this rifle with go with you for a long way.

Very realistic and heavy. For those that wonder why the lower receiver is made out of Nylon Fiber, it is because it is made to be as realistic as possible. The lower receiver is very sturdy and there is no such thing as metal scar lower receiver.

After watching a few youtube videos, you'd be surprised how easy it is to work on this rifle or to take it apart.

Mine shoots consistent 390 FPS. But the final point is, this is the coolest Airsoft gun I have ever seem. You have to fire it to believe it. I have had mine for over 3 month now and I absolutely love it. I have both the green gas mag and Co2 mag. (for cold weather)

"just got this gun today and it is a beast. yes, you do have to lube it before firing, but that took all of 5 minutes. this gun is legit full metal, unlike the AEG counterparts that have multiple small plastic pieces. the stock grip is decent but i personally put a new tactical grip onto it as well as a red/green dot reticle scope, UTG flashlight, and a tactical vertical grip (only until i can afford the 280 dollar grenade launcher). flash hider is made of metal so it won't just snap off with a slight tap. this gun is definately worth buying instead of an AEG model just because it is so much more durable and powerful

"The gun is pretty gorgeous to start out with. I'm quite new to airsoft but I like the feel of gas blowback guns and this gun on full-auto is sick. So far I've noticed that the paint does chip quite easily as someone has previously said and I ended up ordering a second magezine and it doesn't fit properly so there are two different types of magezines even though they look identical, besides where the bb's fit into. Overall though the gun looks amazing. feels amazing, and shoots pretty decent. The only complaint I have is when the gun empties a clip there's no way of knowing, so you have to be paying attention or counting. Great gun though.

"well i got this in the mail its pretty beastly don't get me wrong but it wasnt all that i thought it would be.all the reviews said it was simply AMAZING but i give it 4 stars but however this gun is still pretty sick BTW u have to lubricate it alot.

packaging sucks so order alot of bbs cause they put it in the same box so it kindof adds padding to it
if your using propane it smells like CRAP

so if u buy this keep really good care of this and buy lots and lots of mags trust me youll need them...
