"DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I'm only rating this 5 stars in the hopes it will be put higher on the list of reviews so that more people will see this.
This replica works, yes, but it is grossly overpriced for the quality of the item you are receiving. I urge anyone looking at buying this replica to consider other options. I bought this around 7-8 years ago for $325 and am now baffled to discover they are selling it for $400. This was the first airsoft replica I ever bought, and at the time I was fairly happy with it, but I didn't have any experience with other products to compare it to. I have since purchased and used many other replicas and can confidently say that this one is among the lowest quality, even when compared to replicas a fraction of the cost.
What makes this one so bad? Let's get into it.
Let's start with the internals. This replica doesn't feature a quick change spring gearbox, is wired with small tamiya rather than deans or XT60, and has a small rotary style hop up rather than a larger dial. No built in mosfet either, so running this with a lipo is a bit risky out of the box. I think many of these shortcomings are a consequence of this product being pretty dated in the airsoft space, but if you're going to continue to sell it and charge as much as $400 for it, you could at the very least update it with modern parts.
Then there's the externals, which are even more disappointing. You do get a full metal upper and lower, as well as a decent metal quad rail, but many of the features of this replica are completely lackluster or straight up non functional. The dust cover is held on with a magnet, rather than being locked in place via the charging handle. This means pulling the charging handle doesn't really do anything, and you have to dig your finger nails into the cracks of the door just to pry it open. The magnet on the inside is just an exposed, glued on shiny metal magnet, so leaving the dustcover open is very displeasing, aesthetically.
The faux bolt that hides the hop up is poorly connected to the charging handle, so you have to hold the replica vertically while pulling the charging handle to gain access to the hop up. And the faux bolt doesn't stay locked back like on other replicas, so you have to hold it back with one hand the whole time while you fiddle with the tiny rotary hop up dial, it's truly a terrible experience. This also means that the "bolt release" is completely useless on this replica, as usually it's used to hold the faux bolt back while you adjust the hopup and can be pressed to drop the bolt to hide the hopup when you're finished. Not on this $400 replica. Nope on this one, the bolt release is just a useless paddle that hangs off the side of the gun, not connected to anything and has no purpose. They didn't even put a spring on it so that at least when you press on it, it springs back into position. Nope, it just flops loosely, and will audibly bump against the receiver while you hold the replica.
The charging handle features a spring loaded catch, so that ideally you can't pull it back unless you depress the locking lever. But, like everything else on this replica, it doesn't work, and the charging handle easily slides back without engaging it. The charging handle also seems a little undersized, as it wiggles a lot more than on other replicas I've used. It too wiggles and bumps audibly against the receiver as you use the replica.
I'm personally not a fan of the motor grip with the pre placed finger grooves, and it's made of extremely smooth plastic... it could really benefit from some texture. The crane stock you get out of the box is also pretty poor. As other reviewers have stated, it wobbles a lot more than other replicas, but that's expected at this point.
Many of these may seem like minor nitpicks, which admittedly they kind of are. I would have no problem accepting these shortcomings if this replica was priced much lower, but it costs $400! I have purchased replicas that cost half as much as this one that feature full metal externals, licensed markings, come wired to deans, with a preinstalled trigger mosfet, and functional external details like bolt releases and charging handles. They blow this replica out of the water when it comes to quality, and yet they cost half as much. It doesn't make sense.
If you want an sr25 style of replica, look elsewhere, this one isn't worth the incredibly high price.

"It is an awesome gun out of the box! very accurate I've been using .28 with it once I upgrade the gun it should be shooting 400+. I use it as my second gun beside my SIlverback SRS, get it! YOU WON'T REGRET THE BUY!

"Just got this gun. It seems great so far. But I haven't attached the silencer since I havent figured out a proper way to take off the flash hider. Does anyone know how to properly detach the flash hider from this gun?

"Good Weapon, great accuracy, recommended for people who have played airsoft for a while and know to game well. You also need to be patient and not run around. All in all its good.

"I HIGHLY recommend this gun. I got it and right out of the box it was a beast. The mock suppressor is kinda useless if I'm being honest but that doesn't take away from the gun. Definitely worth the price and it has performed beyond my expectations. Also it has full auto as well even though it doesn't say so.

"Great weapon. It has an insane rate of fire, range, and velocity. The weight is heavy but nice, and the gun is durable. The paint does chip easily, and the silencer is damn-near impossible to get on. The grip that it comes with is fantastic. Lots of rail space, too.

"This gun is a beast! I shot a like 1/4 of a inch sheet of glass and it went right through it! It also looks and feels awesome and its not very heavy at all! This is so worth it! Dont put on the surpresser though its a bad idea.

"I hate how in a airsoft battlefield, everyone has a m4, m16, or Ak47. This gun is so exotic looking and I like how it can be a sniper because of it's long barrel makes for great accuracy. And it's fully automatic capibllity and iron sights make it a good med range rifle!

"Dropped a scope on it, sighted it in, and at the next game sniped 5 ppl within a few minutes at better than 200'. Excellent gun, I strongly recommend this gun to anyone that wants to snipe or spray and pray

"Pros
- Full Metal
- Great Range & fps
- Great Feel
Cons
- Vertical Grip broke first thing out of the box
- Mock Silencer is useless, BB's break in it, would need longer barrel if you want to use.
- On auto the gun tends to shoot 2 bb's here and there
- Dist cover wont open when pulling charging handle
I have not had long enough to judge for the battery, but like people said i would upgrade since its one of those "memory" batteries. Surprisingly my stock was not wobbly at all when it came and after a few games. The gun is great with a scope and folding bi pod. Would recommend .25 or .28 bb's for it. Overall its a good gun if you can live with some cons here and there.

"This gun is outstanding, I have owned it for half a year now and I have installed a 6.01 tightbore barrel. It has decent ROF and great accuracy. It shoots above 400 fps so you cant use at most airsoft fields. This gun is heavy long and flat out menacing. Beware that with the silencer attached it is very front heavy and hard to hold. I put an m203 grenade launcher on it so it is even heavier, but even more scarier. I myself love this specific gun style. It is hard to find in stock but it is such a great deal, it keeps pace with my friends $400 KWA's. It shoots at about 15 rpm with the stock 9.6 battery but with an 11.1 lipo it could probably put out 20+. That rof at 430+ fps is a hard combination to attain. Find this gun somewhere and buy it!
Pros:
high fps
high accuracy
decent rof
looks beautiful
all metal
Heavy (good or bad)
Long (good or bad)
Cons:
slight stock wobble
orange tip is hard to remove

"This is gun is amazing it shoots at 450 FPS out of the box with .25g BB's I highly suggest novice players to experienced players to buy this gun. I love the feel of the full metal body and the ROF is not to bad with the battery that comes with the gun, but it will definitely improved on a better battery. The gun itself is amazing and for a price of $310 is pretty much a bargain with all the accesories needed to play in the field. Overall, this gun is good buy for me.

"I give this gun a 5 star right off.
Pros:
Very nice finished metal body (no plastic [besides the stock]).
Great ROF/FPS (395 right out of the box).
Good weight (like the real thing).
Has a very nice sound when firing.
Nice vertical grip.
Do recon a bi-pod, Scope, and of course a better battery.
Cons:
The stock tube is very wobbly. When tightening it, it just gets lose again.
The dust cover doesn't open when pulling the charging handle (but not very important).
Best not for a younger a youth with the weight on it.

"Wow, this gun is incredible. I have had five guns in the past; m14, m4, l96, g22 and a v-spec. If your one of those people like me caught between wanting to snipe with very good accuracy without sacrificing mobility and ROF then check this gun out. Echo one really knows how to make a good out-of-the-box powerhouse.
Pros:
Accuracy
ROF
Mobility
Range
No need for upgrades
Very universal
Cons:
Since its an uncommon gun, it's hard to find mid caps for and they are somewhat expensive.
The battery is a 9v and is somewhat hard to fit in the crane stock
