"I got about 20,000 rounds out of this piston. It cracked on the rear portion which is not completely steel, aka the first pickup tooth. Unfortunate, but forgivable considering the price. It's not designed for a high stress DMR build like I used it. I would assume a standard gearbox would get ten times as many rounds out of it. Not bad at all but don't get something like this unless you want to just drop it in as a replacement for the stock piston. 420 - 500 FPS springs do not fare well, but at 330FPS this piston would perform much better.

"I put one of these in my m4 with an m130 spring shooting 440 fps at 25 rps and it lasted for almost 2 years. This piston only broke after I swapped it to a new gearbox that had bearings and the bearings broke making the sector gear start hitting it wrong. Overall it's a very good piston especially for the money.

"poor quality very badly qa on this the 1 i bought was so bad i had to buy a different piston. completely unusable.
