I bought this for my M27 IAR by VFC which does not require a peq box, I bought this just for eye candy to make it more realistic looking (the Marines use a tanish peq box) which is all I needed it to do. I could not tell you if this is good for holding a battery but it seems to hold up and it even took a beating when a kid dropped my gun it stayed on, all sturdy and everything. So yes of you want this for a little detail, I rate it 5/5 stars, BUT if you are actually gonna use it for a real purpose and hold a battery then I don't know what to say because I don't have a gun that necessarily needs this ?/5. Also, on the plus side its pretty cheap so yeah...

Evike Staff: No. The 10.8 NiMh is too big. This fits a lipo for PEQ-15.

"I bought this to sit nice and pretty on the top of my gun
as long as you don't mess with the caps it will be nice and will fit the part. (although stickers that it came with are quite cheap and have a hard time sticking.)

"Its a nice looking product and the decals look great as well. Myt problem is that I bought a few 11.1v PEG box matrix lipos for this. The 1300 Mah one does not fit. I havent tried it with small batteries.
I'm giving it a high rating because even though it does not fit my batteries, its still a very well made unit.

"Warning, this peq is smaller than it appears. Only for custom types-its too small for a brick 11.4v lipo 1150mah, small type 8.4v 1600 mah, or 9.6v 2300mah custom nunchuck type. Solidly built however, seems like it would take a bb or two. 4/5 'cause its to small for even an 8.4 small type.
