"I've had this motor for a couple of months now, and am pretty impressed. While it doesn't quite have the torque of the Lonex motors, it is a bit quicker. Testing back to back with a Lonex A3, this motor was 3 RPS faster with a M100 spring, and about the same with a M120. Considering it is $10 cheaper than the Lonex, if you're looking for a fast motor for an M120 or lower spring, this would be the better choice.
On the other hand, there seems to be a lot of quality control issues with the AIM Top motors, so that might be a consideration.
PROS: super high speed, relatively efficient, quiet
CONS: low torque, sketchy QC

"Wow, all I can say is this motor is fast. It is faster (40,000rpm on 8.4v) than the G&P M120 motor (35,000rpm on 8.4v) I have also noticed that this motor does quite well when it comes to battery consumption, and doesn't get very hot at all. If you're looking for a great high speed motor under $70 this is your motor! 100/100

"All I have to say is buy this motor!! shoots faster than the matrix 3000 motor and just a beast. it comes in a very nice packedge and very nice construction.it shot just as fast as my friends Systema A-Z motor. Bottem line you will not be disapointed in this motor, BUY IT!

"I have been using this motor for a while in my MK36 with a 7.4 lipo and an M100 spring. It has served me well, giving me a high RPM and fair trigger response. The only problem I have been having is that it likes to heat up a whole heck of a lot with my silver wiring and deans connectors (I don't know if these things are relevant or not), so much so it has caused me some concern. Though I'm sure my case is my own fault I would recommend researching to make sure this is the right motor for you.

"This motor is alright but if you're trying to decide between this and the Matrix 3000, go with the Matrix 3000 and just buy an extra pinion gear.
This motor is pretty much the same as the Matrix BUT has slightly less torque and doesn't heat up as much.
Good:
- High RPM
- Doesn't get AS hot as Matrix
- Decent pinion
Bad:
- Lower torque
- Not as fast as Matrix 3000
NOTE: I own both the Matrix and AIM motors
