"It's a cheap way to fix the propensity to not even include the original flash hider. I've gotten p90s form other dealers both foreign and domestic and they usually have the original taped inside the box. Evike doesn't so this is somewhat necessary.

"Feels nice, fits nice, but you don't eed a set screw if you just use O-rings behind it. They work just as good. Good construction and feels solid.

"I was really impressed when I pulled this flash hider out of the packaging. It looks great. The color looks great (matte black). It threads exactly as it should. Honestly, it looks great on the P90.
No set screw included, though there is a hole pre-drilled/threaded for one. Who cares. I used an O-ring and it sits perfectly.
Gave it 4* because it is slightly misshapen at the tip...but you really have to look to notice it.

"I purchased this flash hider to replace the blaze orange one that came with my P90. In case you are wondering what P90 model I got, it's for the FN licensed version released by Cybergun. Product ID: 39653 (AEG-200934)
Accurate Replica: Using this flash hider is the most accurate you can get for your Cybergun FN licensed P90 in terms of looks. If you wikipedia the FN P90, the Cybergun P90 I just mentioned is actually based on the the FN P90 TR model (acronym for "Triple Rail"; also known as the "Flat Top"). The Triple Rail variant has two small picatinny rails to the sides and a longer rail on the top of the upper receiver. This version was released in 1999. It is the first P90 variant to adapt this picatinny accessory rail system. IF you want to stick to realism and its period-correct look, this is the metal flash hider to get to replace that orange plastic one.
Cheaper Almost Always Mean, Not Better: My only gripe upon receiving this flash hider and fitting it to the gun is that it has a loose fit to it. For it to achieve a tight fit, you have to keep turning (lefty-tighty) until you can't turn no more. Unfortunately, it seems that the flash hider was threaded too much than spec because by the time you finish turning, the 4-port holes end up 90 degrees to the side instead of onto the top. What you want to do with this flash hider is to NOT turn it completely sot that the port holes end facing upwards. However, this also means the flash hider will be slightly loose. I then found out that using a small paper clip, stretched, and then cut to the correct length / circumference, and then bent to form a "ring" suits best to fill in the tolerance and allow that needed tight fit. You can go with this option or as what some of the comments suggest below, you can use an O-ring. However, I am not sure if an O-ring will be reliable in the long run due to deterioration and its elasticity degrading.
Some Gunsmithing Required: This cheap metal flash hider is good for the price, but it requires some work to make it fit reliably. I've replaced orange flash hiders before and I have never encountered any metal flash hider version that does not fit to spec straight from the packaging like this one. With so many flash hiders for airsoft guns available for sale on EVIKE alone, you may be better buying those unless you're into accuracy and that period correct look that I mentioned earlier.
For this reason, I can only give this product a rating of 3. I am happy with it because it looks great but not so happy with the needed extra work to make it fit.

"Decent construction. It did NOT come with a set screw, so you'll have to go out to Home Depot and find one for it if you want it oriented like it's supposed to be.
