"I do miss the original Opticals more, but the hybrids still work just fine.
They offer all the typical stuff I normally want and don't need the Blu Link, USB cable, or Programmer that the Titans need. However, getting it set up with the selector sensor piece is much more of a pain than the sticker methods of the previous optical and with the Gate ETUs. You will also need to do some soldering yourself to finish the wiring. This is helpful for weirdly-wired guns, but that seems to be quite rarely needed in my experience. So the convenience of the pre-wired stuff is nicer.
ONCE IT'S DONE, then it's smooth sailing. I also have had great experiences with their customer support for the two times I've needed to contact them over all the installs I've done. They have been much more willing to help and diagnose or even replace parts than my experiences with Gate.

"This is my first optical trigger, I'm very happy with it, if this is your first time to install optical trigger I highly recommend you this mosfet. You will not regret.
For better results get a high speed or high torque motor as your personal preferences. I got the high speed and wow is instant shoot even in 3 round burst.
