" Ok for starters, this gun is a beast. I've had several guns in the past and this scar is definitely one of my favorites. This gun has been through hell and back and has still performed almost flawlessly. I had this gun stock for a couple of months then i really turned this thing into a machine. I decided to upgrade it because the piston stripped. So this shot about 400-410 fps out of the box, but when i put in a tight bore barrel, steel teeth piston, 150 spring, matrix nozzle and cylinder head, this gun shot absolutely amazing. Even though I really beefed up the internals, the externals where no joke. As many times I've dropped you would think something was bound to break but it didn't budge one bit. This gun is not the lightest thing in the world, considering i had a scope, fore grip, suppressor, big battery, flashlight, and rail covers on it but its nothing huge to worry about. Another thing to note is that the polymer lower receiver is very strong and it didn't have a problem holding up.
PROS: SHOOTS HARD CONS: MAGS ARE FAIRLY EXPENSIVE
ACCURATE SOME PARTS ARE HARD TO FIND
DURABLE MUST USE HEAVY BBS (AT LEAST 30)
VERY UPGRADABLE PINS HAVE FALLEN OUT DURING GAMES SO SECURE THEM!!
NOT AN M4 STOCK CAN GET VERY WOBBLY IS NOT TIGHTENED
COMFORTABLE TO HOLD BATTERY COMPARTMENT IS VERY TIGHT
**FANTASTIC GUN FOR THE PRICE!!! DONT HESITATE BUY IT NOW!!!**
" I got this gun while it was 90 dollars off and I'm very pleased. It was one of two gun models I really wanted still and this was perfect. It's very easy to take apart for whatever purpose. It came with two mags a battery and charger. The iron sights are strong and both fold and are removable. I haven't had the chance to take this to the field and don't have a chrono of my own so I can't say what the fps is but it seems to be pretty good. I found it annoying that the charging handle comes on the right side but that is easily changed. The wires are also not very strong and can be cut by the stock mechanism. Also there are no wires sticking out when you fold the stock, as the power is passed through contacts in the hinge. It is also heavy and can be uncomfortable if you holding it up all the time so I don't recommend using this for cqb type engagements and the fps based on other reviews may be to high. I'm also working on getting a sight for this but can't decide between tan to match this gun or black to match my others. Scars just look wrong in black to me.
Pros:
Decent range and accuracy
Fully adjustable stock
No external wires with folded stock
looks good
Not an m4.
Heavy
Cons:
Slight sock wobble because it folds
Thin wires
Heavy
small battery space
Over all anything I didn't like about this gun is easily fixable or just nitpicky things.
I'm very happy with this gun and am glad I could get it so cheep. Defenetly worth the full price though.
" Echo 1 has done it again with this model of the MK17. I have had 3 Echo 1 guns and they always out perform any gun less than a polarstar.
Pros:
High FPS
Great accuracy
Great build quality
Built in fuse
Great trigger response
Cons:
None other than small battery space
