"Ok for starters, this gun is a beast. I've had several guns in the past and this scar is definitely one of my favorites. This gun has been through hell and back and has still performed almost flawlessly. I had this gun stock for a couple of months then i really turned this thing into a machine. I decided to upgrade it because the piston stripped. So this shot about 400-410 fps out of the box, but when i put in a tight bore barrel, steel teeth piston, 150 spring, matrix nozzle and cylinder head, this gun shot absolutely amazing. Even though I really beefed up the internals, the externals where no joke. As many times I've dropped you would think something was bound to break but it didn't budge one bit. This gun is not the lightest thing in the world, considering i had a scope, fore grip, suppressor, big battery, flashlight, and rail covers on it but its nothing huge to worry about. Another thing to note is that the polymer lower receiver is very strong and it didn't have a problem holding up.
PROS: SHOOTS HARD CONS: MAGS ARE FAIRLY EXPENSIVE
ACCURATE SOME PARTS ARE HARD TO FIND
DURABLE MUST USE HEAVY BBS (AT LEAST 30)
VERY UPGRADABLE PINS HAVE FALLEN OUT DURING GAMES SO SECURE THEM!!
NOT AN M4 STOCK CAN GET VERY WOBBLY IS NOT TIGHTENED

"I got this gun while it was 90 dollars off and I'm very pleased. It was one of two gun models I really wanted still and this was perfect. It's very easy to take apart for whatever purpose. It came with two mags a battery and charger. The iron sights are strong and both fold and are removable. I haven't had the chance to take this to the field and don't have a chrono of my own so I can't say what the fps is but it seems to be pretty good. I found it annoying that the charging handle comes on the right side but that is easily changed. The wires are also not very strong and can be cut by the stock mechanism. Also there are no wires sticking out when you fold the stock, as the power is passed through contacts in the hinge. It is also heavy and can be uncomfortable if you holding it up all the time so I don't recommend using this for cqb type engagements and the fps based on other reviews may be to high. I'm also working on getting a sight for this but can't decide between tan to match this gun or black to match my others. Scars just look wrong in black to me.
Pros:
Decent range and accuracy
Fully adjustable stock
No external wires with folded stock
looks good
Not an m4.
Heavy
Cons:
Slight sock wobble because it folds
Thin wires
Heavy
small battery space
Over all anything I didn't like about this gun is easily fixable or just nitpicky things.
I'm very happy with this gun and am glad I could get it so cheep. Defenetly worth the full price though.

"Echo 1 has done it again with this model of the MK17. I have had 3 Echo 1 guns and they always out perform any gun less than a polarstar.
Pros:
High FPS
Great accuracy
Great build quality
Built in fuse
Great trigger response
Cons:
None other than small battery space

"My newest addition to my collection, this echo1 SCAR-H is an excellent and well rounded airsoft weapon.
Pros:
1) Full metal with a polymer lower receiver (like the actual weapon)
2) Very powerful (390 fps on mine)
3) Very accurate
4) Decent rate of fire (13 rounds per second on mine)
5) Bolt catch is functional and comes in handy when adjusting the hop-up
6) Folding stock is very functional and expose no wires even though the battery is kept in the stock
7) Compatible with many attachments due to the large amount of rails on the weapon
8) Decent ammo capacity (about 500 rounds)
9) Well weighted (provides good balance)
Cons:
I have not experienced no problems with this model.
Overall, this gun is extremely fictional and is a very well rounded airsoft weapon. Excellent for close quarters and mid-long range fire fights. I definitely recommend this model.

"I bought this gun because I love the scar platform, doubly so for the Scar H. And I've used it exclusively since then. It's performs well and I can out range a few of my friends more expensive guns.
Pros:
Decent rof
Amazing range (can only use .25s cause anything smaller goes 30 feet then straight up but who uses .20s anyhow)
Lightweight.
Not another m4
The body is strong and able to take a beating.
The wires in the stock are hidden so no snagging on things.
Cons: hate to say but there's a few and they are annoying.
Won't take midcaps.
Honestly the stock hing sucks the stock wobbles and mine at least doesn't latch when folded.
It's got a giant fuse in an already small stock space.
Can't use lipos like pretty much every other echo 1
And the stock plate that connects the stock to the gun is held on by two tiny bands so keep your gun lightweight and don't let it swing on any sling or you will break the stock off and have to order a new bas plate.
Besides that these are very good guns. I got a outer barrel extension and a 363 6.03 tightbore and it our ranges my friends m16s and echo1 M14 using lipos. And don't bother going to echo 1s official site looking for this gun. It isn't there which leaves me to think it's a third party gun that echo1 hired out to build.

"Okay this gun is great!!!! Its cheap and its a Scar who doesnt want a Scar but this gun is sorta heavy im 15 and i can deal with it anyways the fps is pretty good i would say its probably around the 360-380 not the 400 it says but its good also its rate of fire is great its super fast the only bad i can say right now is the butt stock for the battery is held by this tiny pin and it just comes out all the time also i just put tape over it also i dont like the three colors thing it has going on but other than that its an Amazing gun so far. Pros-its not a m4, rate of fire, comes with 2 mags and a battery, mosty metal, short, good fps. Cons- cheap stock peice, bad iron sights(buy a sight!!),three different colors like my mags are od green not tan But all in all i say go for it if you want it! THX Evike for another great gun!

"I got t the
tI got it a few weeks ago all in all I Like gun and it's really got a lot of power to it. has a decent rate of fire was tested with aftermarket 9.6 volt battery not the one that comes with it but I believe the one it comes with it is a 9.6 full. The only thing I noticed is that eventually over time the pistol grip has come loose and there is some play with in it it hasn't come up there hasn't broken off during battle or anything at all but I can't give it a full 5 star rating due to that. Other than that the fit finish and we are like the real steel model that I have seen in held before it is a little lighter than the real steal model but when it comes to the upper being all metal in the bottom of the in the polymer it is exactly how the real one is. And the stock is a little rickety in the back when you adjust it creaks doesn't feel super secure but being that its a folding stock be a nap if the position stock adjustable position stock that's come to be expected the coloring of the magazine is off that's what really takes one of the major realistic looking features away from the gun.All in all I am satisfied with the purchase from evike. but don't let the minor things like the loose pistol grip and creaking in the stock that are you from this it seems like a very solid gun has good performance out of the box haven't really tested it for long term reliability. What I like about it is it has that It is a very intimidating looking gun when they see this coming with this big huge wide magazine shut it definitely give consideration for a front vertical grip like shown in picture I found that the Magpul RVG vertical grip in flat dark earth which can be purchased from evike works the best for color matching of this gun. all in all this gun really is a 4.5 rating not a 4.0 less was because of the pistol grip eventually has play in it.But like I said I don't think with a reasonable amount of rough housing it should come off on you so do not let this deter you from buying this product.
Pros
Nice heavy build
Has a solid construction to it
Large amount of rail space
get a lot of inquiries from people when in the field and is my resolve i
I don't see very many of these on the playing field at least this model The heavy
it is ridiculously powerful for CQB
And very maneuverable and tight quarters
a lot of power
And a decent rate of fire
like how the wire does not physically pass through the folding stock
Cons
Handle will eventually come slightly loose with play in it
Magazine coloring it doesn't match the rest of gun
A bit tight putting battery in stock
not a fan of the factory rear iron sight
the front Iron one along with the gas block is a little loose or has play in it

"I bought this gun when it was 189. I use it in cqb and outdoor as well. Never had any problems with it.
Pro
Comes with two mag
Droped it a couple time and it's still working
Fps was 330 that fine with me because they allow up to 350
Con
Battery wire is cheap
I bought a 9.6 I cut a piece off the butt stock so the wire could come out
And just tape the battery to the outside
Butt stock doesn't stay close

"I have had this gun about 1 month, and it stopped shooting. I called evike and they said they would fix it for me free. It is currently in work right now.
Pros
Light (I am only 11)
Good Feel
Any Optics/flashlight/laser/grip can go on it
Nice FPS
Flash Hider that comes with it
High Quality
Folding stock (DOES lock in place, just press)
Cheek Riser
2 Mags
Stock Extension (6 levels)
Cons
Didn't work too long (Only for me, I must have gotten a bad one)
You can see manufacturing lines (Not really noticeable)
Battery was hard to get in at first (I just pulled the pin completely out, it's easier)
With few cons and many pros, I still have confidence this gun will be great. When I went to an arena, everyone complemented me on having this. It is an unusual and expensive weapon to weild. I haven't seen anyone with this gun so far.

"I received my Echo 1 ASC H from a different distributer. I opened the box and I was not happy with my purchase. The following problems are. The plastic part that holds the folding stock straight out was broken. The fire selection, taking the gun off safety and going into semi auto, the safety does not disengage. You have to go to full auto then to semi to get it to work. The sliding bolt action is a hit or miss on if it locks or not. The barrel is loose. This just may have been my gun, but I am returning it and getting the VFC.
