About Condor Condor Outdoor founds its beginnings early on as a camping goods manufacturer. The earlier days of the company were more focused on getting people out into nature and experiencing the wonder of the outdoors. As our product line expanded, the demand for function focused gear instead of general storage became more prevalent and as the War on Terror started we could not keep up with the demand for our products. Our quality and price of the 3-day Assault Pack drew so much attention that it became the heart of our tactical product line. From here we've expanded from camping vests to tactical vests, and expanding the product offering to equip warfighters, law enforcement, and hunters with quality and affordable gear.

" I was very surprised by this little pack at first, mainly because I wasn't expecting the Marine Corps to give me one. This became standard issue in the USMC late last year.
It's a sturdy, well made pack. Seems more solid than some Camelbak gear I've bought. It's heavyweight nylon and stitched well, and the strap system takes a lot of the load off of the zippers and seams.
The pack has four cargo pockets total, plus the hydration pocket. The two main pockets can each hold an issued hygiene kit bag plus some extra items, just to give a sense of scale. You could definitely live out of this pack for a day or two if you packed smart. There are straps underneath for a shelter or rain poncho, just be careful as that can interfere with web gear.
I have not used the hydration pouch yet, my camelbak is leaking so I'm not to keen on sticking it under a heavy pack.
Maybe not the best pack out there but $40 ain't bad, in my case you can't beat free. I've been using it as a day pack since getting home and I haven't been gentle, it's holding up. The difference in price between this and a more expensive pack is probably weight, this one doesn't exactly have high-speed low-drag warplay in mind.
" this the best backpack ive taken into the feild worked perfect the three day weekend opertion we played
PROS
helps distrebute the weight
tightins to not bounce around
CONS
got a little heavy when we put the tent that we used on it
