APS Special Force Type Metal Flashhider for Airsoft AEGs (14mm+)

"Some background; I decided to pick this FH up so that I could toss it onto an S&T Gen 1 Tar 21 (i.e. it has the polycarbonate gearbox), since I got it second hand, it did not have a flash hider. The Tar 21 has 14mm+/clockwise outer barrel threads and I figured this would look great.

Pros: The flash hider itself has some weight to it. A kind of dull OD green/Bronze mixture color wise. Looks fantastic on my OD green Tar.



Con(s): Unfortunately, like the description says, the threads are -35mm inside of the flash hider. Normally I would not care and it even makes the flash hider "sink" into my Tar's forward area where the barrel comes out and it looks awesome. But this is the con for this FH, the threads inside of it are by far the worst threads I have ever seen in a flash hider during my past 9/10 years of airsofting.


Imagine a circle with a + on the inside. The four quadrants where the rest of the circle should be on the + are where the threads themselves are, making for a + shaped hole inbetween the thread areas. This has made installing the FH a bit tough as the FH refuses to snugly sit on top of my outer barrel to be screwed on.
