Matrix RIS Front End Kit for MP5 Series Airsoft AEG Rifles

Originally I was looking for an ris rail I can put on my mp5 since mine was a flat handgaurd with a flashlight insert and I wanted options to mount a box for my battery, grips, lights, lasers, etc. Since it seemed nearly impossible to find one that fit my gun perfectly with no modification I decided to just buy any (this one because of the price, $25 labor day sale) and just do whatever modifications I needed to get it on snug with little to no wobble. All in all I'm very happy with the quality of the polymer hand guard and the way it looks on my gun. The forgrip is a nice bonus but im an angle grip person so I'll be swapping it out soon.

Installation: I ended up not being able to use the outer barrel since the diameter of the base of mine is smaller than the one that came with this set. Knowing that this hand guard fits onto the outer barrel it came with I would have to find a way to mount it onto mine. It didnt take any more than cutting some plastic to get the fitment right and it seemed like the biggest part was aligning the pin near the end of the barrel that holds the handguard.

Pros:
Looks awesome
Lots of extra rail space
Durable polymer construction
Great bang for you buck

Cons:
For grips cheap feeling but I'm not using it anyways
I just wish I could have found a ris rail for my ics instead of having to buy a random one and mode it to fit.
