"Product is better than expected. It feels like a high quality pistol (you can even strip it like a real steel gun). My only issue is so minor that I barely notice it. The pistol comes with a swappable mag release button but the magazine design only has a groove for it on one side. I’m lefty so i switched it for that. The magazine stays in when it’s in the lefty configuration but you can slightly pull it out if you try. It won’t come out from shaking but I think it would preform better if the magazine had a groove on both sides

"This pistol is a bit above average. But you definitely get what you pay for, this package includes: the pistol, two magazines (plastic), and like 500 something odd decent quality .12 bb's. This pistol is cool for a springer, it is open port and has a slide lock. I have had this since black Friday when it was on sale and the slide lock is a bit finnicky. It mostly locks back when you run out of ammo but it will sometimes fail depending on the way you rack the slide for your last round. It looks pretty great, the plastic is high quality and I don't feel like it will break easily, unless you chuck this thing at a wall it will be okay. The open port and slide lock look FANTASTIC, it also has a working hammer. Oh guess what, it is DOUBLE AND SINGLE ACTION. This might not seem cool, but guess what, it is super cool. If you chamber a round, uncock the hammer, and then you can double action fire a round (I just think its super cool for a springer). I have found that this gun fires best with .12 bb's, in fact my goldenball high quality .20 seamless bb's jammed where some cheap colt brand awful seam .12 bb's ran flawlessly. So go for some like .15's if you can find them, red jacket makes some good ones (I used them and they work amazingly). The safety on this gun is this this odd turn thing on the side, it works well and locks the trigger and slide. Enough rant lets sum this up!!!!!

Umarex Beretta PX4 Springer:
PROS-
Decent FPS
Good build and strong materials
Some odd rail on the bottom
Good weight
Able to be disassembled (somehow I haven't figured it out yet)
SLIDE LOCK
SINGLE AND DOUBLE ACTION
Metal parts (hammer, trigger, and safety thingy)
Works with cheap trash ammo
Good sights

CONS-
Sometimes jams with high quality ammo
The slide lock doesn't always work
That's about it

I recommend this pistol, it is cool, it is powerful (for a springer), it is double and single action, and its baller. Peace out dudes and buy this for some cheap fun.

PS I SHOT MY BROTHER AND HE WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT SO DONT DO THAT OKAY

"Ok springer fairly accurate. Quality seems good. Shoots pretty hard
Only complaints are its a bit hard to cock and sometimes the mechanism on the side catches when you cock it and it makes the gun jam..

"I bought this because I've been seeing a lot of good reviews of the real PX4 Storm and wanted to see what if felt like in the hand.
My one complaint with the design is that when your trigger finger is in the "safe position" it tends to sit inside the takedown divets and the metal pieces poke into your fingertip.
I thought it felt pretty good in the hand until I tried the CZ 75D spring pistol - which is fantastic.

Pros:
The sights are nice once you paint some white dots on them.
It's fairly accurate for plinking.
The trigger functions even when it's not "cocked" so it can be used for training.
Comes with 2 magazines.

Cons:
I wish the decocker/safety lever actually worked but it's just molded into the slide. Even if it was just a lever that moved but didn't actually do anything...
It is very hard to cock the spring. Not sure this would be one you'd want to use during a match.
The trigger is kind of creaky when you pull it.
It's too light. I wish they had glued some metal inside it to make it feel more realistic.

"My personal WARNING: Do not buy Umarex springers under any conditions. I bought this one because it came with 2 resevoir mags and had a slide lock feature when empty. Umarex routinely makes extremely poor manufacturing decisions with their spring handguns, and you shouldn't let newcomers hand them praise without a full picture. I really hate to swing my weight around a 2nd time so soon, but this is very, very important. Anything I put a * in front of has a negative side later.

Pros:
+Realistic double action trigger, which is cool and fun on paper.
*+Comes with 2 mags with resevoir feature, and both parts of this statement hit hard for standard springer practices. See-through nature is good as it allows you to easily assess the magazine's status, both in resevoir and in active mag. Very good idea more resevoir springers should follow.
+It fires with acceptable accuracy and intermediate FPS. Its projectiles do a distinctly on-par job going down range.
*+Has a slide lock feature, that locks back when empty. Very cool concept, and how it works to even me is black magic, and I actually know how to build a springer from scratch. Has a hard plastic slide release, which is very cool, mechanically.
*+Has a unique profile that is stylistic, as Umarex handguns often are.

Cons:
-Horrible plastic that is brittle, instead of having some healthy give to it (and give improves survival rating, overall), feels bad in the hand, has no realistic weight, and the gun has very few metal features. Overall, this thing does not have a long shelf life, which is a shame. This crap construction is bog standard for an umarex springer.
-Resevoir mags spend so much space on resevoir that they needed structural beams in them, which you can see on the cut out. These structural beams get BBs snagged in the resevoir, and also limit the ability to "unload" the magazine back into the resevoir. They saw a cool concept, tried to replicate it, but made a serious misplay along the way.
-Slide lock feature, while magically able to detect 6mm spheres' interactions with the gun... Does not work if you cock the gun with it tilted back. It doesn't jam, luckily, but you'll need to slide release after doing a sanity check, as it locks back as a "false positive" for the gun being empty. This heavily limits the usefulness of the feature.
-Unique, round profile makes it extremely hard to grab onto and cock, but still not smooth enough on the draw to be a good vest handgun.
-Even with regard to only spring pressure, this is way too hard to cock for no conceivable reason, drastically limiting rate of fire, ease of use, and as implied above, increasing the number of malfunctions suffered with its slide feature. If this surprises you, you've never used an Umarex springer, because they wander into this mistake time after time, never learning from their failings. As a veteran of 17 springers in his collection, this is why I'm cynical about umarex handguns, and I now own 3. They perform worse and for less lifespan than even the cheapest competitors. Ugh.
-Safety is fake on gun. Instead there's a twistable knob on the righthand side, which acts as the safety, and is very hard to operate, then likes to get stuck sometimes. This feature is not on the actual PX4 storm and is a total copout because they couldn't make all the mechanical features on the gun actually work.

Overall, this gun is above average for an Umarex springer. It tries some new things, and shows some promise, but wanders into "same sh*t, different day" that keeps Umarex springers bathed in the worst decisions they've ever made, refusing to step out and make themselves decent. It gets a 3 star overall, whereas most umarex springers deserve a 2, and quite frankly you shouldn't buy a springer rated less than a 4 in most circumstances. Do yourself a favor. Buy another springer, and make sure it's not from Umarex. If I've reviewed a springer on here, you'll have a good recommendation from me if it scored higher.
