UTG 4" CQB Red / Green Dot Sight

"I've had this sight for 5 years now and have transfered it between dozens of guns, and I must say that to this day, this sight is the best I've had for airsoft hands down. Mounts very solidly, zeros easily and retains that zero for years, and can obviously survive a very long time

"The sight I got was not the same one in the picture, but it was also made by UTG and it looks better then the one I thought I was getting. It also came with flip up covers which was not shown in the picture and two batteries. The sight looks really nice and is easy to adjust.

The only con I can give this sight is that it does not get supper bright. I was able to use it on a sunny Florida day but when I was in direct sunlight it took me a second or two to find the dot but it was still visible.

Over all this gets 5 stars because the brightness was only an issue in extreme conditions.

"This red/green dot will not disappoint. Very crisp, resistance type knob for brightness (turning it makes is slowly get brighter), great eye relief, mounts snugly to the rail, and comes with two end caps. Better than a red dot I paid $100 for.

"This red dot is simply fantastic. I've had mine for two years and have used it countless times on half a dozen platforms. I've never been overly careful with it, moderate impacts on the environment around me does not throw it out of zero nor does it scratch the optic. It has taken at least one direct hit to the front lens and not even left a mark. The qd system is intelligently designed and includes an optional riser for those of you who have trouble sighting with a face mask on. The best feature is the tool-less zeroing knobs. It allows for quick adjustments on the fly and once you get your zero, the thing is practically cemented in place. Having the dual color reticle is nice, too. I find the red on low for indoor, and green on high for outdoor works very well for me. No wash out in bright light and very little glare in low light. The reticle isn't trijicon sharp but you're not paying trijicon money either. For airsoft purposes it excelles in just about every way. The only gripe I have is the brightness rheostat knob does slightly get into my field of vision occasionally. Not so much to hamper function, but sometimes it will ghost into my vision when shooting two eyes open. I plan on getting another to avoid swapping it to other guns when I'm at events. Buy with confidence.

"Fantastic 2MOA optic, very fine and precise dot (having more reticle options would be nice but hey, 50$) Comes in a sturdy foam lined box with 2 batteries and front/rear flip up covers. QD mount is secure and build quality is excellent, probably more durable than the rifle you're buying this for. Only wish the 2 end caps were transparent instead of solid black, to protect the lense from impacts.

"This sight is great. It is easy to zero in, holds sturdy to rails, and comes with dust covers that aren't shown in the photo. The only issue is that the dust covers are extremely easy to snap off as I have found out the hard way. Lens is great for both high and low light situations and the dot is suprisingly crisp for the price. The tube is made out of a very sturdy aluminum as well.
