"I love this trigger guard only rifle, however i will say this: If you are unfamiliar with teching a rifle, be very careful. While punching out the roll pin it is very easy to snap one of the ears on your lower receiver. Be sure to properly support your lower receiver while attempting to remove the roll pin. I didn't break mine but it was pretty scary the amount of force required to remove my original trigger guard's roll pin and i can easily see why so many people snap their lowers while changing them.
All that aside, this added a really cool unique look to my lower!

"Fantastically comfortable trigger guard, fit great on a G&G Combat Machine body, however it's important to note that you do need a small allen key that DOES NOT COME INCLUDED in order to put in the second pin and lock the trigger guard in place.

I was able to use a spare allen key that came with a Feyachi red dot sight I purchased on Amazon to screw it in, but be aware that it doesn't come with!

"PRIMARY APPLICATION:

Trigger Guard Replacement of G&G Combat Machine CM16 R8L

REMARKS:

I originally purchased a Magpul MOE (i.e. real steel use) Trigger Guard for use on the aforementioned AEG above. It was a slightly difficult install (the set pins are tight to fit, though it should be that way). However, I noticed that the MOE trigger guard had gaps on both sides that doesn't really look too good.

As soon as I received the "PTS" version of the trigger guard, I was surprised! The PTS version is actually slightly wider and longer than the MOE version. With that said, the gaps were completely eliminated from which the MOE originally had. I don't know the reason behind this, but as far as I am concerned, I thought AR-15 replicas in airsoft would have been the same in many dimension areas and tolerance issues to their real steel counterparts.

Take it from my experience. If you plan to replace your trigger guard with an enhanced look from Magpul, I would suggest getting the PTS version for your airsoft AEG. Assuming all airsoft AEG AR-15s have the same measurements, you should not have a problem. But ever wonder, why an airsoft store, such as Evike will have dedicated PTS parts from Magpul and not the MOE? Compatibility for airsoft doesn't always mean compatibility for real steel parts and vice versa.

PROS:

Perfect fit.
Snugly secures on your AR-15 airsoft.
Made of the same tough reinforced polymer.

CONS:

I found that the MOE version is cheaper -- however -- it will have gaps on the sides once installed.
I was hoping to receive a more presentable packaging, complete with the Magpul PTS card... All I got was a small ziploc plastic with it.

VERDICT:

Despite the lacking packaging that shows off the Magpul PTS logo, IT WILL FUNCTION as it should. The extra packaging presentation would have been nice though...
