G&G Top Tech G980 Mauser KAR 98K WWII Airsoft Co2 Gas Rifle with Real Wood Stock

"Bought this gun after doing several hours of research. Hefty price but worth. Every. Cent. The gun is so well made in every aspect, true to the original and extremely reliable. Super efficient on gas, super powerful with a good amount of recoil and overall a blast to shoot. However, the one gripe I have is the scope mount, granted I should have spent the extra 100$ and got the G&G Kar98 scope designated for it but it was out of stock when I was purchasing. My personal thoughts is that as cool as the shell ejecting variant is, this one is more desirable to me considering the gas efficiency and logistics of in battle, I wouldn’t want to worry about shells. Highly recommend this gun and this company’s products to everyone. 11/10

"This gun has become my main weapon, it's very well built and I have few complaints.

Pros:
-Very accurate, gets better overtime (see cons)
-Real wood stock is sturdy and looks great
-Comes with two magazines and a leather strap
-disassembles like the real thing
-Shoots .40 grams great, I'm getting upwards of 390 FPS with them
-Makes a great sniper.

Cons:
-My buy was initially wildly inaccurate, did some research and found some of them come with a bad hop-up that corrects itself over time. Inaccuracy can be overcome with heavier BBs if you're impatient, or you can replace it. My gun corrected itself reasonably fast and its a beast on the field now, so no complaints
-a part or two on the bolt can be finicky and may need to be reglued. This is a critical error in my opinion as thats the part that sees the most use, however it's not deal breaking.

Notes:
I've had amazing experiences with this rifle. I've done really well as a sniper, but I've also skirmished with it and done really well. It's very portable and lightweight, so moving around is no problem. Its got enough power behind it to get enemies to take cover, and it being a gas gun means its easy to load another round into the chamber in good time.

Reloading is a bit tricky, and the magazines hold just enough gas to get through two clips (maybe just too little) However I've become used to it, and it adds a nice immersion feel to reloading in games, although it is a bit more difficult than it should be.

Overall, the gun is amazing, it's a solid 9/10, there's a few issues here and there but nothing terrible. The gun comes with plenty to get you started and keep going. The only major thing I wish was improved was the option to just buy the small magazine "clips" instead of the full metal box. I only use one, as I can easily carry the clips with me(VS the big and clunky magazines)

If you're a reenactor, I highly recommend this gun. If not, I'd recommend it if you want a sniper that you can skirmish with if needed, however, if you want an excellent sniper and don't care about skirmishing capabilities (and want a higher capacity than 9 rds) go with something else.
