"This mask is AWESOME! Got it on sale for $18.

Just getting into Airsoft and this mask definitely protects my entire face, forehead, chin and top of head. it does NOT cover your neck, ears and back of your head if this if of concern to you. The screen is made of metal it seems or very very hard plastic. either way, it did not bend or dent when shooting it at almost point blank over 5x with my CYMA Sport AEG rated at 380FPS.

The mask is adjustable with 2 pull tabs behind your ears/chin. It fits my face just fine and the interior visibility is 90% Id guess as it cuts off maybe 1.5" or so of visibility on both right and left sides, not much at all and definitely better than goggles IMO. the material that touches your face has not bothered me but I've only used it 4x for about 20-45 minute sessions. IDK how it feels if you wear it for hours on end...

The material inside is breathable and dries once off your face for a little bit. Sweating has not been an issue for me while playing with this mask on and there is no fogging what so ever :)

overall id definitely buy this again if I needed another mask.

"I'm a full Matrix buyer. I'm completely sold on their equipment due to the high quality and durability.
I just got this mask today and am already impressed.

Pros:
Hard mesh (able to bend with great force)
very comfortable
Adequate frontal neck protection

Cons:
Inadeqaute side cover. This mask is primarily to protect your face. I would strongly recommend purchasing a balaclava, woodland digital hat, or a helmet if you use this, otherwise you may be in for a painful suprise.

Overall, highly recommend to any airsoft person.

"Really comfortable, doesn't get in your way. I have taken the mask threw safety test myself with 450+ fps within a 2ft range (realistically, you shouldn't be getting shot nearly that close) and all it did was put a small bend in the metal. Apply a little pressure and it is as good as new.

"ive had this mask for a while now an i ave to say i love it. i have been hit in the face a few inches away with a co2 pistol(buddy wanted to see what would happen. he ended up getting shot in the leg back) and nothing happened. as in the mask didn't bend at all and the bb didnt shatter. I have played with a guy that had a sr25 ( i believe that is right) and he was shooting around 525 or higher, but between games he lit up my mask on the table next to him and again, nothing. I have worn safety goggles but they always seem to fog, so i no longer do, most of the time. now, i'm not saying that you will not need a pair of goggles, because you will. and make sure they are slim. i love this mask i plan on getting the black to go with my next camo set, and a half mask for when i have to use goggles

"very good mask. it fogs up glasses really quickly tho when you are playing, but i was just playing with impact resistant sunglasses. working on getting a set of goggles that will not fog.

"Having had this mask for a few months now I can say it is a solid performance. I bought it from Evike for $30 a few months ago, and I feel like that was a very fair price; that being said, now that it's $25 you should seriously consider it.

The mask is highly adjustable. The mesh continues into the fabric portion of the mask about an inch, and so at first I had trouble getting it to fit my bulbous face. However, after some tinkering, I discovered it is much easier to simply bend the metal to your desire (as long as you do it carefully, there is no compromise in structural effeciency). The cheek area of the mesh was very tight, so I bent it out a bit.

The material on the inside of the mask is somewhat abrasive to the skin, but it does wick away moisture fairly well. I personally like a much looser fit so that I can take off the mask with one hand, without having to undo the clasps on the back. I have found that I can't fit a hat over it, however, even when it's really tight.

Despite looking somewhat silly at times, the mask does its job. You'll never need to worry about fog. The only thing I have noticed about this mask is that the mesh sits just a little bit further out from your face than other mesh systems, so your vision on the whole will suffer just the slightest bit, but it's still far better than trying to deal with fog.

The mask rests close enough to your face (even when it's strapped loosely) that you can easily aim down pretty much all of your weapons. I have a Snow Wolf Barrett with a low-riding scope, and to be honest, I was very nervous while waiting to receive this mask as to whether it would let me look through the scope. Though it's not a 100% perfect view, it is very, very doable, and certainly much better than any other full mask setup you'll find.

Overall I am surprised that it took somebody so long to market this design as it is fantastic. I'm not sure if certain fields will allow this without some supplemental goggles underneath, but for the more casual playstyle there is nothing better.

"I -LOVE- this mask!

I'll do a pro/con:
Pros:
-I was able to easily wear sunglasses/low-pro goggles underneath this.
-It fits very snug to my face, was fairly comfortable during an all-day game.
-It doesn't rub my nose, even though I would consider my nose to be long.
-Amazing field of view! Very close to no obstruction.
-Mesh is VERY tough, I tried to bend it to fit better, but I can't!
-Easy to adjust 2-strap system.
-Looks badass

It does have some problems that I would love to see corrected in the next generation.
-Firstly, the paint finish is not a MATTE finish, it is GLOSSY. If you look into a sunny area, you're bombarded by hundreds of little light circles in your vision. I was able to deal with it, but I am going to paint it matte colors. Please fix!!
-Also, it doesn't look like the advertisement pics, it has a solid color for the mesh.
-It grips my cheeks a little tightly, sort of makes me talk funny. But the design would need to change a lot to make it fit without moving.
-I wish there was more head "dome" coverage, the top/sides of your head are vulnerable to painful headshots. A full-head version would make my life.

Overall I am pleased with it, but it couldn't hurt to improve it more!

"great face mask. a must buy for sure if you do cqb games. i wear 3 hole balaclava with it cause the mesh rubs aginst your nose real bad. ive only taken about 4 shots to the face with this and it was with a bad ics plastic sportline shooting at barely 295 fps. im expecting alot more damage when i take it to the next game cause everyones guns there are 350 to 400 (might break the mesh cause it feels brittle but good metal) all in all a super durable mask and great if you want to breath comfortably and look down your holo scope or iron sights

"Ok so I just got my mask about 10 mins ago and as soon as I opened the box and held it for the first time, I knew it was made well. It has a very sturdy feel to it...not really heavy but firm and strong. It's made to last...and I haven't even used it yet. Cammo is what I expected it to be...matches my boone hat.

When I put it on the clasps in the back are nice and strong too! Very adjustable and feels nice. I have only one thing whcih I would take a 0.01 point off the rating and that is the chin area...there is heavy padding where your chin rests and it pushes my mouth inwards. This is a tight feeling and will make it hard to talk...but honestly I won't be doing much talking and I'm sure it's just my head shape. afterall, there has to be some tightness to keep it from wobbleing. other than that one problem I have I love this mask!!!

one more thing...I would reccomend either face paint or a balaklava if your going for 100% cover...my white face shines even behinde the green wire. I'm gonna wear a balaklava which might also cut down on the pressure points on my chin.

Can't wait to try it out!!!

overall rating from me is 4.99 out of 5

"I just got this mask in the mail and it is great. It fits really well, the padding inside is in all the right places and just the right thickness, and it still works with my red dot sight. The only drawback is if somebody uses cheap BBs and one shatters on impact and it goes through the mesh and into my eye. The good news is that my sunglasses still fit underneath if needed. Other than that, I've got no complaints.

"Fantastic mask! I've gotten to use it twice thus far and I love it! I would recommend this mask more for cooler weather games though. Great mask nonetheless and am very happy to own it!

Pros:
Nice and cushioned around the mesh.
Close to the face, easy to use sights.
Looks great! Gonna try it with black face paint for the "faceless" look.
Better visibility than any mesh I've used yet!
Easy to put on/take off.

Cons:
I have a large nose. It presses against the mesh constantly. Could stand to push out the nose part more.
A little warm, but that's the same with any mask.

"great mask. check with you local airsoft field about mesh policies. i have to where safety glasses under or goggles over. a bandana or head band is a must. you will sweat all over your face.

i bought one in woodland camo and had to buy another one. they fit great on a fat face or big head. lol. a little head or kids head won't hold as well.

i have 2 and plan to buy more.

5/5 stars for awesomeness. not effective by itself. get a bandana.

"this mask is great 5 stars for being able to aim down the sights/scopes. Its so low profile that you wont need a riser. GET THIS MASK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"This thing is great! It is far more comfortable than i thought it would be and has full visibility. It adjusts perfectly for your head and is very simple to remove, tighten and put on. It also is not all that hot. I live in Arizona and play in 100 degrees weather and it works great. I recommended this to anyone who is tiring of fogging!

"Hey just got this mask today, It was a little bit bigger than I expected. When I took it out of the box and threw it on, I tightened it to my face and it actually looked kinda weird, then I figured out the trick. Tighten it only so much as to where its stable on your face but not tight (more snug I guess) for that good rounded look.

Pros:
*Full spectrum of view
*Impossibility of fog
*Amazing look
*Great Price totally worth every penny
*Ventilation
*You can look down sights and scopes without your mask getting in the way
Cons:
*Cheeks- It puts a little bit of pressure on them and it actually makes my jaw wanna cramp some, but all you gotta do is either loosen it or release some pressure and move your jaw some.
*Picture Misleading- The lower 2 pictures are from the original one from Russia I believe,,, theres no camo painted on the grid (but you can do this yourself), and I havent tried that glasses look but you would have to take some stitching out, plus theres a top flap (in the product picture) not shown in those lower ones (STILL COOL THOUGH :3!)
*Helmet- May be a little hard, I tried mine and it like, barely fits but this may be determined by the kind of helmet too, just know that if your planning on putting a helmet with this have a backup plan.

Overall, Great mask, totally worth it, if your thinking about getting it then you probably should.
