"Very nice, took me a minute to attach it because I forgot about the negative thread direction. Both ends are 14mm, perfect for anything that needs a longer barrel

"So if you own the standard length version of the scar-L (not the cqc version), this is already on the gun. Both sides are negative 14mm threaded and can unscrew it near the gas block to convert the standard to a cqc (its very tight at first and has a 1.5 Allen grub screw to hold it in place on the gasblock). If you instead own the cqc version of this gun, you can remove the flash hider and screw this extension on the threads the flash hider was on, then proceed to screw the flash hider on the other end of this extension. Thus converting your cqc into a standard.
