"In the 3 years, 7 months, & 13 days (at the time of this writing) since the last review I can say that this adapter still does not work 'out of the box' with the Matrix TM L96 Clone.

Took it out of the packaging, would not lock-in.
Removed the set screw, measured where it needed to be...scored the shaft...applied JB Weld. Problem solved.

It's $10. It took 10 extra minutes to 'fix' it. C'est la vie.

It performs as advertised...it will hold accessories (like a bipod) to my Matrix TM L96 Clone.

"Originally ordered with "Matrix Marui Clone L96 AWS Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle" and it did not work. The bolt hole to secure the tri-rail to the peg was off by about 1/8". An Evike rep said they received "a bad batch of bipod adapters a while back", which may have been the issue.

After an exchange with Evike, the replacement adapter just barely clicked past the quick release latch.
It now holds quite firmly.

PROS:
-Adds additional real-estate for mounting accessories
-Quick release option
-Sturdy built

CON:
-Seems to be hit/miss on getting an adapter that will me manufactured properly

"this works great!!!!....after you modify it to work like it should... out of the box the large pin that goes into the rifle was to short to lock into place for the Matrix tm l96 aws clone. this was easliy fixed by removing the screw that holds the tri rail onto the pin and pushing the pin down deeper and hot glueing the pin into the tri rail.

other then that it works perfectly but it still looses a star for needing to be fixed.
