" I got this hopping to build a sleeper out of my ASG M40A3 sportline, but, it does not fit in the stock cylinder. Do not buy this if you are trying to upgrade your ASG M40A3 sportline. Good build quality and the piston head is pretty unique.
" To anyone out there with an echo1 m28. This piston will work in your gun. It is actually slightly longer then the stock piston. The only modification needed is the two little white plastic rings at each end of the piston need filed down. I used light sand paper wrapped around the outside of the rings to make it even as possible. And just checked it every couple of shaves. Got it to the right width lubed it up and reassembled. Seemed to shoot fine. Haven't tested at a range yet will edit post once that is done
