Angel Custom MAX Piston and Cylinder Head Set for Type-96 / M24 Series Airsoft Sniper Rifles

"I bought this piston after my old one started cracking after a few years of use in a 500 fps 0.2g setup. This cylinder head's rounded hole blows the stock chamfered cylinder head out of the water in terms of consistency. I've been able to hit a man-sized target at about 250' seven out of ten times with MadBull 0.43g Precision BBs. My only gripe is that on the store page, it says, "We strongly recommend upgrading the piston cup to AC-APS-02 for best performance". The AC-APS-02 is the item ID for the PSS2 Power Accuracy piston head, which does not fit this piston. The piston tip that connects to the piston head is about 5 millimeters on this piston, while the PSS2 takes about an 8 millimeter piston tip.

TL,DR: Piston tip is too small to fit the PSS2 Power Accuracy. Otherwise, it's a great piston that has a nice air-brake effect that quietens the noise similar to a 1/4" SorboPad.

"I have just received mine and it does in fact fit 9mm springs just fine. Nice snug fit but not tight enough that it scraps the inside of the piston or get hung up inside. Simply put, works perfectly as it should.

"The piston head on this thing explodes with higher weight springs, leaving the little nub on the tip to clog the nozzle. My piston head pad was glued down so that the vent holes on the rubber part didn't line up with the holes in the aluminum part. Other than that, it's a decent piston.
