"Better than all else.
The ZET AKM I can assure you, is the best out of its competition with the WE-Tech and GHK AKs
Mostly the limitation comes from that the aftermarket for this gun comes from smaller airsoft manufacturers. Some of which are creating parts handmade with CADing.
I fired this gun out of a GK Tactical drum, and fired it till the nozzle froze, must say that it does have very good gas efficency, and takes lots of rounds to freeze.
If you want this gun to have a better inner barrel and CQB legal, go for an a-plus rectifier at 6.08mm tightness. Anything tighter will jump the gun's FPS way too high.

out of the box this akm hits over 350 fps for a tokyo marui gun, as an early adopter of the platform it is gonna be on of the replicas that i shall keep forever

"Came in today! Might field it tmr, not sure yet as I only have the 1 mag (Evike please get more!!)
The quality of this rifle is incredible, it feels sooo good in the hand and I'm sure the aftermarket will come out with stock and hand guard options.
Currently I've only dry fired it but it was an absolute blast to shoot and in terms of fun, makes me consider selling my Wolverine mtw lol (I'm not though, going to keep mtw as a sneaky boi rifle)
I have the laylax 370mm 6.03 mws barrel on the way as well as a 60 degree silicone Mr Hop, 70 silicone autobot, and a 130% bowmaster recoil spring

"Ever since I bought this AKM, its been very reliable, it works well with propane, and shoots more true than a GHK, worth the money, I really like this gun.

"Hold off on it if you want it for customization
The AKM ZET on its own is a very good rifle, the gun is actually lighter than a WE-Tech AK74u believe it or not. However, its limited as of right now by its aftermarket.
Furniture on the handguards and stock are completely proprietary, meaning that if you aren't going for a modern build or zenitco furniture (available off of Wii tech's website), and lets say are going for a Warsaw Pact variant, you can't do that.
Another issue is how TM engineered its FPS, and I can say its way too high for either Japan or the U.S. The issue with turning down its FPS via making the barrel end early on in the outer barrel makes this gun's accuracy questionable when not having its original flash hider on the end. Try not to use long tracers on this gun.
Should you want to turn down the FPS there's other cylinder valves (AKA Rocket valves or nozzle valves) available that tune the gun's fps, but aren't configurable like an NPAS.
Other than that once this gun gets rolling in the aftermarket I can see it being a good competitor to the GHK, as this gun has none of the issues GHK has.
Another issue other people have been mentioning is the mag availability, for me I was able to acquire mags via importing.
